no holdI was actually happy to receive these products because I'm always wiling to try new hair products on my daughter. She has wavy/curly hair and it always seems to lose its shape throughout the day. Right after she gets out from the bath I use both the moisturizer and then this styler. The styler in my opinion did nothing. made it very frizzy and had NO HOLD. I do agree its very easy to spread and makes it shiny. maybe as a refresher it would be better.

Curl Definer Soft and Clean to the Touch 100%I bought this product months ago and never used it. Yesterday, I was in a jam and didn’t have my usual styling product. I styled my hair and it came out perfectly.
I didn’t have to use too much product and it dryer clear. My hair is soft to the touch and curls are well defined. I have a shine to my curls.
There was no sticky residue. No oily hair. I
My hair is clean to the touch. Now I’m not nervous about husband touching my hair. Nor do I have worry about leaving product on any headrests anymore.
The scent is lovely. I am returning to purchase another bottle. Unfortunately, they discontinued it.

Sounds good on paper.It’s a great product in theory. A gel that turns to foam and drys like foam sounds great. The problem is that the foam alone does not go smoothly through my hair. I’ve tried wet and damp. The results looked nice though. It only lasted one day for a wash and go.
I then purchased the cream to serum moisturizer. It gave the necessary slip, but I lost the hold. It also took much longer to dry. Then the next day I had flakes.
These products also leave buildup on the hair. I think this is why the dedicated wash day delight shampoo is very cleansing. The only positive is that the rose scent smells really nice and lasts for days in the hair.
As someone with fine, high density 4a curls, this product line is a no for me. I might use the mousse to slick back buns and puffs. That’s about it.

Hair Gel Foam to Styler Rose WaterI love all of the Carol’ Daughter products! This styler made my hair even softer, very moisturized, bouncy curls and it smells fabulous! I have fine, 3B curls and this absolutely works for me!

Terrible FlakingI was devastated when the original rose scented styling foam was suddenly discontinued. That foam grabbed, defined, moisturizerized, and left my scalp clean and supple with zero residue. When I saw this new option, I was incredibly excited to try it. I have thick below the shoulders, type 4 hair. Wash and goes are also my styling preference. The night it arrived, I shampooed my hair, and added the foam. It felt amazing going on, smelled delicious, and my hair felt fluffy and light, just the way i like it. When I took off my silk bonnet the next morning, and began gently seperating my hair, flakes where EVERYWHERE...especially nearest to my scalp. I was wearing a dark blazer for work, and did not have time to change my outfit . All day, I was sweeping flakes from my shoulders. Please bring back the original rose styling foam, as there was nothing wrong with it and it was a go to for a long time.
