I went to Macy's about two years ago and a woman asked me if I ever tried carols daughter, at first I thought it was like any other overpriced hair line , so she gave me a sample of some stuff and I bought the hair mask because she said that I really needed to try it. So I tried it and I am so happy I found this .. I went back and purchased a few more and I also told my cousin about it and she's just addicted as me..she always buys alot of their hair masks ., it has really made my hair stronger and my hair is not dry or frizzy I usually leave it in and wash it out .. Sometimes I blow dry my hair afterwards and it is just amazing, my friends think I went to a hair salon. Thank you for making such a wonderful line of products.

I had a perm in my hair and it broke my hair off and my hair was shedding worse than a dog. My hair has a long history of breaking off it never makes it passthe back of my hairline. And it always break off at the sides and then I am left with a mohawk. so I decided to do the big chop and cut all of my hair off. so I decided to grow my hair out right. I remember hearing about carols daughter so I gave the repair set a try. I like it a lot my hair has beed growning its only been a week and I am seeing the difference. Now I said I dont want any products that has sulfate, mineral oil, petroleum, and paroben, and other harmful stuff. Like I said I like the product. At first I was in love with it until I saw that the conditioner and mask does have Behentrimonium Methosulfate and the conditioner its self has the Cetrimonium Methosulfate and Behentrimonium Methosulfate. I know that sulfate period alone is not good for black women hair I feel that if your going to make the shampoo sulfate free so should the rest of the products. Now I am stuck with this product and I a very dissapointed.

Still debating whether to try this product or not?… I think you should take a second and think about what you're doing to your hair by NOT trying it out! I am true testament that this right here will change the way you look at hair products in general! I was a sceptic once, just like you… I had a small sample of it siting on my dresser. Every time I looked at the tiny amount I thought to myself "ha… this wont even be enough to lather on 1/4 of my hair…" But desperate times calls for desperate measures. One fateful night… no other conditioner in sight (cause I forgot to buy some) and a home made hair smoothie sitting in my head threatening to ruin my reputation (if I walked out of my house smelling of rotten greek yogurt)… I HAD NO CHOICE! This sample was my one and only. This diminutive amount I once rejected, became not only my saving grace but also proved to be a titan, a definite force to be reckoned with! I have unruly and defiant type 3c to 4a curls that do what they want WHEN they want… But this wild lion became no more than a tame kitten as soon as it came into contact with the velvety touch of the deep conditioner. I talking about as SOON as I distribute it as evenly as I could over my locks, they responded in a way I NEVER EVER experienced. Folks, it was instant. I left it on a few more minutes than it advised (15 mins instead of 5 to 7 as they advertise). When it was time to detangle my hair I nearly fell in the tub from my bewilderment. MY hair, YES MY HAIR submiting and surrenduring to the wide tooth comb without waging a battle of epic proportions? This was too good to be true but there it was… Who was I to contradict it!? I am now on day 3 of my wash… my hair is still silky and smooth, shinny and bouncy, fragrant and radiant! My life will NEVER be the same! I am now buying the WHOLE LINE cause I'm a cynic turned believer! How did I go a day without this miracle in a jar? I will never know!

Love this product! I have natural curly hair and have been straightening and coloring it for 23 years. I have always used salon coloring and top of the line products in my hair, so needless to say after all the heat and chemicals my hair have been through after all the years I am lucky that it's in as good as shape as it is. I have always had lots of breakage and went to Ulta to get my Redken All Soft Heavy Cream as usual and got to talking to one of the stylist. She suggested the repairing hair mask by Carol's Daughter and said all the stylist use it and love it. I have always tried different products but always go back to my Redken Heavy Cream, but when I tried this for the first time I was amazed at the difference this made my hair look and feel. I have definitely found my favorite product and recommend it to everyone.

I have used this after shampooing with the Monoi shampoo and plenty other of my countless shampoos, and my hair always feels soft and detangling is hassle free. I also use as a pre-poo by oiling my scalp with my home-made oil treatment oil (mix of olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil), and then add the mask. I put my hot cap on it for about 30 min and then shampoo it all out. This is best treatment that Ive had. Also, my hair smells wonderful for days after and feels much stronger as well - no lie. Shedding is non-event since using this stuff. My only issue is that this costs too much.

I ordered the shampoo and mask of HSN sounded so good so wanted to try it , i was so disapointed as l used it 2x and my long hair was very dry and frizzy . l will be sending it back .

I purchased this to use in conjunction with the Monoi Ultimate Repair and Style Set. It smells great & looks amazing as though it has a satin like sheen to it. My hair felt very different after my first use. My hair felt silky and stronger when rubbing my fingers through it. I will be be using this faithfully, weekly on my wash weeks for deep conditioning.

The shampoo is good, but the conditioners are amazing. The conditioners make my hair so soft.

TRY THIS PRODUCT!!! I LOVE this product! It is so conditioning and smells so wonderful. It made my hair soft and silky, not to mention it leaves the lovely fragrance in your hair. I initially tried the Monoi repairing mask when I had a ton of new growth because I heard rave reviews about this product. I was not impressed...not only did my hair feel brittle and dry, but I shed more hair after using the mask than I had in a very long time because my hair tangled significantly. After getting a relaxer, I decided to give it another shot, thinking that maybe the cause of my tangling was washing my hair w/a ton of new growth and not the product (although I had hardly shed any hair w/my previous conditioner). After washing my hair w/the Monoi shampoo and deep conditioning it w/the Monoi mask, I got the same results...brittle hair that was more tangled, leaving more hair in my comb than I would've liked to have seen. I was not happy, especially since my previous conditioner always left my hair detangled, soft and moisturized. Monoi hair repairing mask, like any other hair care product for me, got two chances to prove itself, because like anyone else I don't want tangled, brittle hair. I will not purchase this product again, and in fact, i am giving this product away. it is unfortunate because although I LOVE Carol's fragrances, most of the hair care products (i.e Tui, Monoi) don't work for my hair. I want them to work because they smell awesome and I'm always in favor of supporting African-American products, but it just doesn't work for me.

I absolutely loved this conditioner, first time use and I can see the difference. My hair had less breakage and more moisture than I've had in 1.5 years of washin conditioning, deep conditioning and treatments... I love it and will now use it from now on.

I found this hair mask at a Sephora, and I picked it because all the other ones smelled nasty and this one was the best smelling by far. Let me just tell you this hair mask is amazing! I have highlighted hair and this stuff made my hair feel really soft and it didn't make it feel heavy or greasy. It also smell SOO GOOD! Gardenia is one of my favorite scents of all time so I am in heaven being able to have my hair smell like gardenias all day! :) I totally recommend this product to anyone that has dry or color-treated hair like I do. I am for sure going to get the shampoo and conditioner!

I'm newly natural, haven't relaxed since May 2012. I bought the Hair Balm at Macy's and got a sample of the Monoi Hair Mask and shampoo. I loved the smell but the hair mask made my ends very dry and frizzy. I followed the directions, not sure why I didn't get maximum results, maybe it's because my hair is going through transition, not sure. I know for a fact I don't have any relaxer left on my ends because what was left was cut off. I will give this product another try because of all the positive reviews, but as far as my first experience it's not what I was expecting.

Amazing results after one use of the mask. It locks shine and moisture in, leaving hair healthy and shiny. I live by this conditioning mask. I would suggest leaving it on your hair longer than recommended for superb results! You will not be dissatisfied.

I LOVE this conditioner. I have always hated washing my hair because it's been unbearable to comb through. I'm not necessarily pleased with the shampoos (they're not bad, but compared to the conditioners?). This and the black vanilla conditioner (jar) makes my hair a breeze to comb through. It's effortless, not a chore like before. Also, it cuts my wash/styling time significantly, which is a huge plus. It's going to hard finding something that makes your hair so easy to detangle (can do it with my fingers). I have the thickest, nappiest of hair, so when I say this is a good detangling product, I mean it!

After one use of the Monoi Repairing Hair Mask, my hair looks and feels dry, the ends are frizzy and it lacks luster. I examined one strand of my hair, and it was split in sections for the whole length of the strand. I also used the Monoi Repairing Split End Sealer, and that was useless. I never had this problem before. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for over a year and have been very satisfied. My hair had looked and felt soft. But, I noticed a few split ends and thought the "repairing" product could help - it made my hair worse! Now, my hair is damaged.

This mask is excellent as a protein treatment. I gave it another shot after I used it incorrectly the first time. It clearly makes my transitioning hair stronger and more durable than before. When I rinse it out, there is slight to no hair in the sink and that has allowed me to breathe again. On the moisture factor, it doesn't make my hair super soft , but the strength factor outweighs that concept! I'm 6 months into my transition, have a lot of tightly coiled hair growth and I probably will buy this again. I also paired this with the Olive Oil Infusion kit and it is a lethal, transition-hair-managing combo!!!

My entire life my hair has had it's ups ,downs and OMG's. Lastnight I used the Monoi mask and split end sealer for the first time. After using just the mask I could feel the difference in my hair. It's against my laws to brush or comb my hair while it's wet. In shock at the way my hair feels I go for the comb and SHIZZZAM without causing brain damage I am combing my wet hair. At this point I'm so excited to use the split end sealer i feel like I'm going to explode. I'm able to get the sealer on just before the monster gets home from school. I have to give her my undivided attention. I didn't have time to dry and style or grab my hair pudding for a wet style so I let it air dry. Usually this is a major frizz, painful brush out and dry or it's in a bun until I wash it again. Hours go by...a workout, 2 hour session of "Just dance" and put the monster to bed. Head back to the bathroom to my surprise I'm still able to run a comb thru my hair! It's like a dream :) my hair is dry at this point so I start the styling process. I immediately notice the change in my hair at the first curl. My ends don't look fried and dry. My hair has an amazing shine and I used no grease or oil. I'm carols newest daughter for life! I was looking for a product to help with my breakage. My daughter told me about your products. I am in love with them. I have been using this for about a month now and have not had to put a relaxer in my hair. My new growth is soft and manageable .it has been eight weeks since my last relaxer. The smell is great. The only downfall I have seen is I must wash my hair about every five days other than that LOVE the product.

This stuff is truly amazing! I have been a long transitioner for two years, I had a relapse and now have been fully relaxer-free for a full year. I wash my hair with the Tui Collection and have for a almost four years, I received a sample of the hair mask from Sephora and thought I would go for it. I used it as a pre-wash condition and then did my regular washing routine with Tui. My hair is the softest I have ever felt, not to mention, bouncy and full. I love every bit of it! My routine consists of the following: Monoi Hair Mask-Pre Wash Tui Shampoo Tui Condition (I have used both and love both of them) Tui Leave-In Seal w/Tui Oil Before bed I add a little Lisa's Hair Elixir before I wrap it up. This hair mask is by far the best deep conditioner I have ever used. It has made me a lover of Carol's Daughter products. I am currently transitioning and although my hair is not unmanageable, I have experienced quite a bit of excessive breakage. After purchasing this hair mask, my breakage has decreased considerably. I use the product once a week with my huetiful hair steamer and when I rinse out the mask my hair feels AMAZING. It is well worth the price. I have probably 3b/3c hair texture. A little of the product goes a long way. I have used the mask about 8 times and I have probably 4 more uses left. You gotta try this stuff.

I'm white, with naturally curly, dry hair. I've used other C'sD products before and loved them. This product was recommended to be by one of the C'sD team members at an event at Southlake Mall. It is amazing. I'm seeing such impressive results that I have just got to add the Monoi shampoo and conditioner to my routine for sure.

I literally just washed my hair with the monoi shampoo and I'm conditioner with the conditioner in my hair as I'm writing this review (I'm writing this review as use each of the three products from the line). I'm newly transitioning from relaxed to natural for 6 months now and I've been experiencing a lot of breakage. I've been a fan of Carol's Daughter products for a long time and I couldn't wait to try this product. First the smell is amazing (to die for), I can't stop smelling it. Second when washing with the shampoo I thought I would need at least a quarter size amount to wash each of the 3 sections of my hair, only to realize you only need a dime size amount and it lathers so much considering that it's sulfate free. And third the conditioner detangles nicely. But the repairing mask is wonderful, it makes my hair feel soft and manageable and it actually does feel stronger and healthier. I can't wait until my next wash day. I will continue to use this product in my wash routine....THANKS LISA. P.S. Lisa I can't stop raving about how much I love the smell of the monoi line. I would be an even bigger fan if you would create a leave in hairdressing line with the smell of the monoi. Example: Monoi hair oil, hair butter, leave in conditioner. I was looking for a deep treatment conditioner for my long, straight and fine/thin hair. I've used other deep conditioners that weight my hair down and make it look greasy. This stuff is the BEST I've ever used. I don't even need to use a detangler after the shower. It's so great!

I've heard so many great things about Carol's Daughter. I have long thick(relaxed for about 1 year and 3 months now, but transitioning back) hair. My hair is about ehh...a little bit past my mid-back area. I missed my poofy 3b curls so I decided to try out the Monoi because I did have a little bit of breakage. I have to say after 1 use, I automatically saw the difference. My new growth is now defined and not frizzy. Its actually really soft and my curls are in heaven. THANK YOU SO MUCH !

I am Caucasian and I bleach my roots and hair quite often ( platinum Blonde ). This mask smells wonderful and has a great texture! It keeps my hair from breaking and keeps it strong ! I never have to worry about breakage while using this product! I am very careful with my hair and it's important for me to keep it healthy especially with all the processing I do to my hair . First I wanted to say that I had seen Carol's Daughter advertised on QVC, however I always thought it was made more for African-American hair so never tried it. I have fine, usually dry hair and i've tried so many products under the sun. Then I read in a magazine that Kim Kardashian uses this mask, so figured i'd give it a try too. I bought the monoi oil, shampoo, conditioner and the hair mask. The shampoo and conditioner are ok, but I absolutely love the oil and hair mask. I do the oil treatment weekly and then end my wash with the hair mask and i've received so many compliments about my hair. I owe that to Carol's Daughter. You have to try this product and the oil for those of you with really dry hair. it's definitely the best hair product i've used.

I have been natural for 1.5 years now. I have thick head of fine textured tight curls. As my hair has grown in length the battle with tangles and detangling breakage left me very perplexed. I would go back and forth between giving my hair more protein and/or more moisture. Nothing seemed to work. After reading the reviews about the Monoi line I figured I would try anything at this point. I noticed a HUGE difference after the first application (shampoo, mask, and conditioner). I would say my breakage was reduced by 75% - No Joke! Even while detangling I noticed the difference in the strength of my hair. My delicate, yet course coils did not snap under pressure. I have to say hats off to the monoi shampoo and repairing mask. I went natural almost 1 year ago and have tried many many products. I have really dry hair that breaks very easily. I have been concerned about my recent episode of breakage and other products didn't seem to be helping. About 3 weeks ago I was watching HSN and they were advertising a special with the Monoi line of products. I was curious about the claim that there would be a 96% reduction in breakage aftr using the product. Well, I definitely have a testimony! After the 1st use I have seen a drastic reduction in breakage and my hair feels and looks soooo much bette!. Thanks Carol's Daughter for such an amazing product!!

I have been shedding hair since by daughter turned 4.5 months old. It was coming out at a pretty frightening rate. The breakage eventually tapered off by my hair has still been weaker and more prone to breakage. I ordered this product along with the shampoo and conditioner and used it for the first time this week. I have to say that I wish I'd started using it sooner. It is a wonderful product and very true to its advertising. That's rare. I've found a permanent addition to my beauty regime and something I can pass along to my daughter. Thanks a bunch!!

this is the first time using a mask and not ony does it smell terrific but I love how my hair sofented and the frizz was reduced along with breakage. I am going on a journey with lots of ups and downs with my hair but carols daughter products are making my life much easier. I am now having a good time trying to explore what works with my natural hair and I hope this nurses my hair back to health. I just need to learn how often I can use the mask and not over condition my hair. I currently use the entire minoi set ncaa along with th hair milk lite and so far the combination of products are good

I purchased this product to help get some hair back on my head following chemo treatments. Post chemo, my hair texture changed from super kinky/dry/coarse to a finer, curly/wavy texture (due to follicular changes). Great product! Must use if your hair is damaged

Well, it conditioned my hair well. I did not see much of a difference as far as the shedding, I promise I shed like a dog it seems! I didn't wash my hair with the Monoi Shampoo as it hasn't arrived yet... I used the Rosemary Mint shampoo, which I love, so I am hoping that I will get better results with the Monoi shampoo but my hair looks healthy and strong, just no difference in the shedding and I expected more... will try again next week! Smells great!

I have long natural hair that I go to the salon and get washed every week. With the economy the way it is I decided to be a big girl and try washing my own hair to save money. In the past when I have had to do it myself I would literally cringe at the fact I had to battle tons of knots and tangles leaving me so stressed I would cry. Someone suggested I try the Monoi collection from CD and it has been the best investment ever! The products leave my hair so soft and manageable I actually love washing my hair at home now. After using the mask I comb right through my hair with no tangles or shedding and I can finally air dry my hair without it matting up. Love it!!!!!

I just used this repairing mask and my hair has NEVER felt softer - even after a visit to the salon. I was able to dry and straighten my hair in half the time, and it actually feels like silk! Totally worth the money. I actually think i'll save hundreds by using this product instead of going to my stylist twice a month. I started with the hair elixir as a hot oil treatment, followed by the rosemary mint shampoo, put the monoi mask on (and covered with a plastic cap for 15 minutes), and applied the hair balm while damp, then blew dry. I feel completely papmered and fabulous! Thanks CD for an AWESOME conditioner. Even my hands feel softer after the wash!

I have tried this product line before and I will honestly say that I was not happy with it so I moved on to other products. I was at Macy's the other day and noticed they carried this line and I walked over to the counter and saw that there were quite a few more products added to the product line. The sales agent was very helpful and I told her that I tried the products before and had not been very pleased. She told me she understood and suggested that I tried this mask. I was hesitant but I felt I was put on the spot and I was not really thrilled about spending $30.00 for a hair product because I have tried som many products of different brands and they have never worked the way I wanted them to. I have weird hair, I don't know if any of you have ever heard of scab hair but that is what I am currently experiencing right now transitioning from chemicals to natural hair. I figured I would buy the product and if I do not like it I will certainly return it so I put the receipt in a safe place. After trying the conditioner for the first time last night, I am now thinking about getting another jar just in case they sale out of what they have in stock. My hair looks and feels better than it ever has. When I was rinsing the mask out of my hair I could already feel the difference, I could not wait to get out of the shower to take a look. My hair was so soft, manageable and silky. I blowed it dry and use my regular curling iron and my hair looked like I should have been in a magazine. It has lots of body and shine. It was smooth and the smell is wonderful. Now I am on this site looking to see what other new products there are so I can go back to Macy's and buy more.

I waited a while to make sure I was happy with this product, but I was never happy. It didn't do for my hair what I was reading. I have African American hair, relaxed, course medium length. It is very thick. I used this with great expectations, but didn't see any change or improvement. Maybe it is just not made for my hair type. I did everything correctly. It just didn't preform as expected. I felt the same way about the smoothies. I don't think that formula.- the thick conditioners- are right for me. I will be trying the Black vanilla regular conditioner....hopefully that will have a better outcome.

I really like Monoi conditioner. My hair was becoming dry and brittle due to medication and I didn't know what to do. I tried it and my hair stopped breaking off immediately. I love the smell and they way it makes my hair feel.It is very easy to comb through and twist. I would recommend this conditioner to anyone because it is well worth it!

First time writing a review. I have been trying to go natural for a about one and half years. My hair was thinning so I kept my hair in either a weave or braids. Took out the weave and my hair had grown and was very thick but it was very tangled. After washing my hair, it felt really good but was tangled. I worked my way througth the tangles (with scissors) and finally was able to part in sections. I put the hair mask on and WOW. My hair felt and smelled so good. My coarse brittle hair was so silky smooth and felt healthy, strong. I love this product..it is worth every penny.

Okay so I really don't write reviews, but needed to on this one. I am transitioning from relaxer w/high lights to natural hair and are a bit nervous about the outcome. My hair is long full of relaxer and since I decided not to touch it up again, I needed something to make the transition a little easier. Well I tried the Monoi mask a couple of hours ago and must say I'm satisfied! I was a bit concerned at first when combing through my hair as I rinsed it out because quite a bit of hair came out, but once i blow dried it the results were different. After my hair was completely dry and I combed through it no hair came out in the comb. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I was quite impressed. Maybe I might just wash my own hair more often...

The thing that appealed to me about this treatment to order it was the whole slogan 96% less breakage. The main thing to hair growth is a healthy scalp and ends. I have tried a good bit of treatments. Some were okay, but did not reduce breakage. I ordered this online, and decided to give it a go. The smell is really good. The consistency is semi-thick (which I like for my natural hair, I can't do the light stuff). I use this with and without a weave. Especially after having one taken out. After the first use of this product, I noticed only 4 strands of hair after detangling. This stuff really works, and my hair has been growing ever since. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to retain length/damaged hair.

I have long thick coarse Native American hair and I used the hair mask this morning and then blow dried as usual. I can actually feel the difference in my hair. This product really repairs and smoothes the hair cuticle, adding a nice vibrant shine. Excellent product!

I just used this product for the first time. I read a lot of reviews about this saying how wonderful it is but not mentioning a tingle so I want to mention it here so if any of you experience it you will not be alarmed. There is a slight tingle on your scalp after applying this product, at least for me and some others, some don't have a tingle and some do but in case you do don't be alarmed. This is normal, the mask is deeply penetrating your scalp for optimum benefits, your hair will feel soft, beautiful and yes look healthier and be healthier after just 1 use. This is a wonderful product and an A+ all the way. I have long slightly damaged hair due to flat ironing and blow drying, this has worked wonderfully and I can tell ALREADY that it will retore my hair to it's original strength before any damage at all. Try it, you'll see!!! It has a different scent, a little strong but smells wonderful, it does not stink at all.

My hair would always go through a very heavy shedding period, but after using the Monoi Repairing Hair Mask my hair is stronger and shed's LESS! I throughly put the product all through my hair, but on a plastic shower cap, wait for 30-45min. and then rinse out. I saw my hair get thicker and stronger with in two weeks! I usuallly use the the Rosemary Mint Shamppoo and Conditioner but I'm ready to switch over to the Monoi Shampoo and Conditioner!

feel like quiting my job to sell this product (no kidding)

After years of mistreating my hair with weaves and extentions and three years of growing my hair out by wearing wigs I finally decided go natural. My new grown hair is longer but despite weekly deep conditioning and ritual end clipping it was still shell-shocked and prone to breakage so the first thing I ordered was the Monoi collection. After all I wanted the best and I had heard for years about Carol's Daughter products besides I couldn't even comb my hair when it was wet without leaving handfuls of hair on the sink so what did I have to lose but MORE HAIR?? Well I just got out of the shower after my first use of the Monoi products. I did a hot oil treatment, shampoo and a hair mask (which smells great by the way:) After just ONE TIME I can now run a comb thru my hair ! And there are maybe 3 strand of hair on the comb after combing my entire head and my hair goes to the middle of my back. AMAZING, AWESOME ,TERRIFIC!!!!! For the first time in years I am not struggling to detangle my wet hair! I am one happy customer :)))))))

First of all i have sisterlocks, so I tried the mask yesterday after my wash. When I rinsed and did a braid out my hair is absolutly breath taking. It's soft, fly away and moisturize without damaging my tiny locs. Now all we need in this line of haircare products is a Monoi leave in conditioner!!!!! Great job CDs.

I am extremely pleased with the Monoi Hair Mask and the Repairing Shampoo. These products are effective after just one use. My hair looked like I had been to the salon, and I see a difference in the texture and growth. I highly recommend the Monoi product line. I'm a huge fan.

I am currently 5 months into transitioning from a relaxer into completely natural hair. I took this product to my stylist to use as a deep conditioner. I sat under the dryer for approximately 15 minutes. My stylist who is a bit skeptical when I bring my own products since transitioning (her regular products are too drying now on my hair)...was so amazed at how my hair felt and that she was able to comb through my natural hair with no problem at all. She kept commenting on how she has never seen someone transition with such manageable hair. Thank you for this product. I bought it on a whim at your Brooklyn, NY store, but almost walked by because the name of the store wasn't posted outside. I LOVE this mask, I use it once a week, the smell is fantastic leaves my hair soft and shiny and less tangles and breakage. my hair is mid back length and thick and I also color it. the first time I used this I fell in LOVE with it!!!! the shampoo/conditioner is also great love the smell!!!!! this mask ROCKS!!!!

I have had natural hair for the last 12 years. For the new year I decided to flat iron/blow it out. I did this from Jan 1 to June. I decided to wear is curly again for Summer. To my utter astonishment, my hair would no longer curl! What in the world was I going to do. I went online and found nothing too helpful.I talked to stylists and anyone else.Just "wait it out" is all I kept getting. On a whim I went to the store and bought the Monoi Repair Kit. I'd never heard of it. I used it and was almost in tears when I finished. MY CURLS WERE BACK AFTER 1 USE! I couldn't stop looking in the mirror because I couldn't believe how well it worked in 1 use. For the pass 2 years I have been looking for a really good deep conditioner treatment. When I first heard about Monoi collection I was a bit skeptical. However, on my recent trip to Arlington, VA I went into the CD store and splurge (with the repairing mask included). When I got back I did an 8 hour treatment and the results where okay but I wasn't convinced yet. This past weekend I did a 24 hour treatment and I am in LOVE! Once I rinsed it out the mask it left my thick curl hair nice and smooth! I recommend this product to anyone that is looking to repair their dry ends!

I was on vacation in New York and thought I would try this on my wire like hair, simply because it smells so good. Wow! My hair not only smells great but the condition is like nothing I've every had before. My hair is really shiny, soft and I can style it much easier. My only complaints....when can we get this in the UK. NYC is a long way to go for conditioner!

As a hair colorist in Manhattan I have never seen a product like this. I personally have bleach blonde hair that I color every 4 weeks and it has completely changed the texture and health of my hair. My salon does not carry this product but I am constantly recommending my clients to go to the nearest Carol's Daughter store and buy the Monoi products immediately. I'm a client to this product for life.

This hair mask is great! A little bit goes a long way at repairing/fortifying fragile strands. I've used it 3x and I see very few strands in my comb/brush. My hair shines again and looks healthy. I'm transitioning from relaxed hair and this is the best product I've used during the process. I'm writing this review while under the dryer at the salon to show that I'm a believer of the benefits of the Monoi hair care line <3

I purchased the Monoi shampoo and conditioner a few weeks ago; could not afford the repairing hair mask at the time. I did receive great results after using the combination. But, let me tell you, I finally purchased the repairing mask and OMG what a significant improvement with my thin, fragile, dry and brittle relaxed hair. I shampooed my hair and applied the repairing mask, sat under the dryer for 15 mins, rinsed thoroughly, then wrapped my hair. My hair was soft and manageable, it had a great shine and just felt luxuriously moisturized. I LOVE this cocktail. I have committed to using these products forever. I am anxiously waiting to see the length of my hair improve also.

When I first bought this product I was skeptical everyone always says the product will work. Well this one actually does my hair grew and inch and a half in a month. It was falling out by the hand fulls in the shower now there is very little hair falling out this product is heaven sent. I NEVER write reviews but this product gets my vote. Ok, so lemme tell u guys that i was in sephora the other day and i asked a women if she can reccomend me something for my hair because it has some damage and i also want to prevent it, my hair wasnt as shiny anymore basically it was dull UNTILLL she threw me some samples of this and the shampoo and conditiioner. I got home tried it and OMGGGGG the result was AMAZINGGGG!!!! :D the next day i woke up straightened my hair and omg it was sooooooooo SOFT and silky and i had sooo much shine! this was just after ONE use! can you imagine after a month. This product is worth the price its the best thing ever i cant remember the last time my hair felt and looked this good!

I cannot believe how soft my hair is!!! After 1 use, I can defitely tell my hair is responding well to the Hair Mask. It was so easy to comb through after washing (which made me soo happy). I cannot wait to see what it does going forward. My hair has been damaged for tooo long and now I have hope it will start growing healthy and strong!

This is my second review on this product, and ladies it is worthy of it!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe Lisa Price does not have an infomercial on this product; it absolutely deserves it! This is my third week using the Monoi Repairing Mask, and two weeks ago I incorporated the Monoi Shampoo. Also it is the third week I have received complements on my hair, and noticed less breakage (actual minimal to none). This is an awesome product!!! Approximately a year ago, I had over 4-5 inches of my hair break off due to over processing. I am bi-racial, and have not relaxed my hair in over 20 years; however, I have frosted my hair for the last 4 years. Two years ago I switched beauticians, and the new beautician doubled processed my hair causing a year of hair breakage. I did everything possibly known to women to reduce the breakage, but to no avail. With this product, I noticed an immediate change after the first use. My hair absolutely soaked up the product(s). My hair has body as well as bounce. The shampoo lathers up quickly, and as for the mask, I continue to use it for approximately 30- 45 minutes while I clean the house. I know that everyone is different, and what works for me may not work for you, but a least try it – if not the Monoi shampoo try the mask only. You will see, feel, and notice a difference immediately. You deserve it – if not you then who???????

I have never written a review for any product that I have purchased in the past. I have purchased most of the CD's products for my daughter and myself the list includes: Mimosa Hair Honey, Healthy Hair Butter, Black Vanilla Shampoo/Cond./Smoothie, Tui Oils, Elixir, Hair Balm and the list goes on. Of the products that I have purchased the Monoi Repairing Hair Mask has made my hair feel very soft. Yesterday was my first time using the product. My stylist applied the product to my hair after a relaxer, I sat under the dryer for about 20 mins AND the rest was history. I believe I am sold, I will continue to use the product!!

OMG! best product ever. I have enough hair products in my house to supply an army. I have invested soooo much money buying different hair products and honestly some of them has worked but nothing, nothing like Carols daughter's Monoi Mask. I have been using Tui smoothie for almost 5 months and I love it. But Monoi is like a miracle to your hair. Should be named Miracle Hair Mask. The smell is fantastic. Believe it or not I was able to count the hairs in my sink and brush. My hair is thicker, shinier and beautiful. I can't wait for my boyfriend to come home tonight so he can smell my hair. First of all, I must say that if someone told me a week ago, that I would love a product so much that I would write a review, I might call them crazy. Yet, here I am..writing review about how awesome the Monoi Repairing Hair Mask is. I have relaxed hair, and although it is nice to be able to comb through , I hate the fact that (even with relaxer) my hair sheds. Like I can be just touching it and a few strands are on my hands. Not to mention my hair looks thin. My goal was to find anything that worked. I saw the ad on Facebook and I read the previous reviews. Since I tried everything else, I figured I should atleast give it a shot. I asked my hairstylist to use the Mask instead of the treatment she usually gives me, she looked a little dissappointed but said ok, We both smelled the product, Its smelled delightful, like a tropical breeze. She added the treatment to my hair and put me under the dryer for 10 mins..When she washed it out she was impressed of how soft my hair was, and so was I. Later on, I wrapped my hair, assuming as usual, a few strands would fall out, and my brush had nothing..well not exactly nothing, it had the lovely smell of the Mask, but No hair...yea!! I will continue to use this product and add the shampoo and conditioner to my collection. Thank you Carol's Daughter.

This is the best product I have ever tried for my relaxed hair. For the past 6 years I have been wearing a wig. This year I took the wig off and relaxed my natural hair. I am so glad I decided to try this product. It is outstanding and the advertisement is correct - it keeps your hair from coming out on the comb and brush. The first use of this product sold me. I finally found a product that works for my hair type. In addition, it keeps your hair well groom given when you need a touch-up relaxer. Using this product causes me not to relax my hair so frequently, which has caused my hair to break off in the past. Thank you Carol! May God continue to bless you and your company with good products.

Words cannot describe this product...my hair soaked up the mask and I noticed a difference immediately. To be honest, I only used the mask because financially I cannot afford the the shampoo and conditioner. I can only image what my hair would feel or do if I used the entire Monoi line products. If you're hesitant or financially strap (like me and most americans) try the mask only; you will see a difference - I PROMISE you will!!! I used the mask for approx. 30 - 45 minutes while cleaning the house. It smells so good. Enjoy it, it is absolutely worth the cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used this for the first time a week ago and it's AMAZING! My hair has never smelled, felt, or looked this good ever. I didn't even have to use any styling products and my hair didn't get frizzy or dry even after 3 days! Thank you Lisa for another amazing product!

This conditioner is a wonderful product! I live in a dry climate and have shoulder-length relaxed hair, so I am always looking for a good conditioner. This one is definitely what my hair needs and it smells great, too! After a few uses, I have noticed less breakage. Also, this conditioner makes my hair more manageable and smooth, and it works especially well in this regard when my relaxer is starting to grow out. I hope that this line will someday be expanded to include a leave-in moisturizer, and maybe some body lotions as well.

I took a chance on this product after I lost three inches of hair during a "trim" due to split ends. I have long, relaxed hair that tends to shed. I noticed an immediate difference after the first use. The amount of hair I lost from wet combing was down to about 1/4 of what it was the last time I washed my hair. My hair is silky and smooth and smells almost edible. I've also started to mix a little of the mair mask with the Healthy Hair butter as a moisturizer. This product is well worth the price. I'll never use another conditioner.

I ORDERED THE MONOI SET LAST WEEK & RECEIVED IT ON SATURDAY 7/16/11. I TOOK IT WITH ME TO THE HAIR SALON. I TRIED IT AND I'M HOOKED. I NEEDED A PERM SO BAD THAT I COULDN'T COMB MY HAIR BUT WHEN I USED THE SHAMPOO & THE MASK, THE COMB JUST GLIDED THROUGH MY HAIR. I SUFFER FROM VERY DRY HAIR & SHREDDING AND THAT HAS STOPPED. I purchased this product and the repairing shampoo..when i tell you this is the best thing i have ever tried i am not exagerating!!! I Purchased it based on the 96% breakage prevention. Normally when i wash my hair i can run my fingers through it and have stands of hair in my hand. Also when i comb my hair with a large tooth comb it also have lots of hair in it. Well yesterday i used the product for the first time and when i woke up this morning nothing was in the comb and now im sitting at work running my fingers through my hair and NOTHING!!! This is the best..I love it..Run tell every woman u know about this product it will not fail.

I used this product along with the conditioner and the shampoo. After combining all the treatments, and especially the mask, my hair felt strong to the touch. It was like a different texture in my hands. I usally loose a golf ball size of hair after each shampoo and detangling session. I didn't loose any hair at anytime during this trio process.

I have tried lots of different conditioners. I am natural, with 3a-4a hair type. I have used Oyin handmade, organix, macadamia hair masks,etc. I will say this was just okay. I didn't notice any difference than any other conditioner. It definitely wasn't worth my $30.00. I will not purchase again.

I received Monoi Repairing Hair Mask through a giveaway from Allure Magazine and although I am Caucasian, I have very thick, unruly hair, I am always flat ironing my hair, plus it is color-treated and high-lighted, so consequently, my hair is damaged, I never would have thought about trying Carol's Daughter before this, but this stuff has answered my prayers! I am utterly shocked at how good my hair feels after just one use, not only does my hair feel and look great, I was surprised at how light it was in the shower and easy to rinse out. It didn't weigh my hair down at all, and seemed to balance the porosity and texture of my hair, to right where it needed to be, I am definitely hooked and will be looking into purchasing the rest of the product line.... First, I've been using Carol's Daughter for the last 6 years. I love all of her hair products. The Monoi line is amazing... My hair pops when I comb or brush it... While combing my hair after the first use, I saw less hair in my comb... I'm very pleased...

The repairing mask smells good and left my hair straighter after washing it. I love it!!

Been Carol's product user for a couple years, purchased the monoi shampoo and repairing mask a couple of weeks ago. I relax and color my hair every 8 to 12 weeks so it does become quiet dry and damaged with breakage. Have not use the shampoo yet but have used the repairing mask and could tell the different in my hair immediately. I've always said I have two texture of hair, top is lightly coarse and the back is tight curls and coarse. I have to flat iron the back hair twice in order for my hair to even come close to looking and feeling like the same texture. Not sure what the monoi repairing mask is doing to my hair but I like it. For the first time in years the top and back hair feel like the same texture of hair after using it twice. Next test is to see if this new soft texture hair in the back stays on my head. I'll check back with a status report in a couple of months.

I said I would report again at the end of June, but no need to wait. I tried this 4 times now and have seen much less broken hairs. My hair has been growing with all the Carol's Daughters products, but this is a much needed boost for anyone. One of my co-workers noticed my hair and had to ask what I was doing that she was not, because her her was brittle and breaking, so I took her by the hand and went to the Carol's Daughters store in the mall near our job. She used them over the weekend and couldn't wait to tell me how much better her hair and scalp felt. Thanks again Lisa

I tried the Monoi system for the first time today. My hair is relaxed and I have to wear a surgical cap on a daily basis that sucks the moisture out of my hair. I have been using Wen Fig products for the past 2-3 years, but found that I was having increased shedding, breakage and scalp itching in recent weeks. I also made the decision to try Carol's Daughter products to support Black business. I found that the Monoi shampoo caused my hair to tangle up more but with the application of the condiioner, I was able to get a wide-tooth comb through more easily. I applied the repairing mask, put on a cap and sat under the dryer for about 5 minutes. I left the mask on for about 12 minutes and rinsed with cool water. I mixed a small amount of the conditioner with water in a spray bottle and used it as a setting lotion. I rolled my hair and dried it as usual. The result was very soft and bouncy hair, much softer than I had been getting with Wen. Time will tell if I have less breakage and shedding.

I, too, am carrying damage hair from years of processing it (relaxing). I needed to do something different and feed life back in my hair as well as reduce the breakage. Monoi Repairing Hair Mask smells great but more importantly I love the results of using it -- softness to my hair as well as shine. Thank you, Lisa, for this wonderful product. I am sold!

All I have to say is OMG. I have been looking for a great conditioner ever since Kera Care changed the formula for the humectant conditioner in the 5 lb tub. The product was full of mineral oil and several other ingredients that are not good for the hair yet is was the best conditioner. With those ingredients the product was great yet VERY bad for the hair and scalp. I have tried Bumble and Bumble Pureology, Carols daughter's other product, Kera Care, Biologe, Mazani, Resuce 911, and I have spent hundreds of dollars on products! NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS FORMUAL. You will not find any other product that will moisturize like this. UNBELIEVABLE!!! UNBELIEVABLE. I love it and will purchase several more to keep in my cabinets. Lisa please create a oil and a leave in conditioner with this monoi oil in it. it seems to work wonders. Please do not ever discontinue this product. This best product EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You get instant results. Please expand this line with a leave in conditioner and oil!! I just want to say that all of the Carol's Daughter products are wonderful. I have been using these products for about six months and I am totally hooked. I first started with the WEN haircare system and got great results but I realized that you can do the same type of thing with the Carol's Daughter products. I am especially talking about co-washing. Since using CD's products and co-washing, my hair has grown to my shoulders and continues to grow (quickly). I receive so many compliments. I love CD's products!! So, with that being said, I purchased the Monoi conditioner and Monoi hair mask (which arrived at my house yesterday). I quickly rushed and used the products and my hair feels even better than it did when I used the Black Vanilla Conditioner!!! My hair feels so soft and it is totally manageable. These are products that you need to keep in stock! I am so happy with all of the results that I have received from using the CD products..I believe that from now on in my hair care regimen, I will be utilizing the Monoi conditioner/mask, elixir, hair balm, mimosa hair honey, and the macadamia heat protectant. If you use these products, I can guarantee you that you will see a difference!!! I wish I could post before and after pictures. But, just take my word for it...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! I just used the hair mask for the first time on May 18 . I took it with me to the Hair salon and had my stylist use it as a hot oil treatment..immediately after rinsing it it was noticeably softer and then when it was blow dried the texture and shine was amazing...my hair feels so soft and looks so healthy...I use Other carols daughter products and I'm glad to add this to my collection. My stylist has even purchased the carol daughter products to use on her other clients! Thanks for putting out awesome products for our hair..

I tried the shampoo, conditioner, and mask on May 10. Hair feels great as I expected with all of Carol's Daughter products. I gave it 4 stars for now, because it will take more treatments for me to see if my hair is stronger and has less breakage. I have no doubt that it will be, since all the products are terrific. My hair had been horrible from the abuse of overprocessing with flat iron, coloring, and relaxers. I had a lot of breakage, so I stop coloring my hair, and cut my hair down. I have been wearing wigs, while I have been continuing to work on my hair for the past two months, using natural products including, Carol's Daughter products Black Vanilla Shampoo & Smoothie Conditioner every week and the Hair Elixer &Healthy Hair Butter daily. My hair has been growing and it is very thick now; nevertheless, the back was very coarse and hard to touch and comb. All of these products were wonderful and made great improvements. I still wasn't satisfied with my hair, mainly because I have so much gray (all across the front and in weird patches, not pretty) and the back was so coarse even after using a relaxer. I purchased the whole set of Monoi. I took a chance and put permanent color in my hair (which always leaves my hair coarse, but semi-permanent does absolutely nothing – even in the salon), then used the Monoi Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Mask. It smells wonderful, my hair felt better while it was wet, and after blow drying (on med heat). My hair was soft and smooth all over, especially in the back. I can't get over how my hair in the back has become so manageable. It feels wonderful. I highly recommend all of Carol's Daughter products, but if your hair has been damaged and you want serious repair, you must invest in this Monoi Hair Care System. 1 use and I'm hooked.

I have never wrote a review before but I had to write one on this product. First, the smell it is great not an over powering at all. Second, my hair sheds very bad and when I first put it on expected to wash it out and have a hand full of hair like always. But not with this product my hair feel SOOOOOO moisturized like I had an hot oil treatment and not one piece of hair in my hands nor the sink. Thank you Carol's Daughter for a great product. Money well spent!!!!
