THE PRODUCT SEEMS TO WORK REALLY WELL TO RELIEVE THE DRY SKIN BUT MY ONLY DISLIKE IS THE SMELL. NOT A VERY GOOD ONE AND COULD USE IMPROVEMENT IN THAT AREA OF THE PRODUCT.

I have very dry skin that needs proper hydration all year round, even in the summer. So if my skin is dry when it's warm, imagine what it's like during a harsh, cold winter in New England. I bought the Acai Hydrating Face Butter because I typically use a moisturizer and then seal with shea butter, but it just made sense to buy a facial product that already combined some of my favorite ingredients. I am happy to say that the balance of the water and all of the rich butters/oils is phenomenal because this product really sinks into my skin without making it oily. I was initially nervous that it might cause me to break out, but I have been using it regularly for 3 weeks and I have yet to see a blemish. As a matter of fact, I don't need to wear make-up because it just provides a nice, healthy glow.

I bought this for my Mom for Christmas and one for myself. A week after applying, I woke up with a big dry patch on my face. this product is no good. My mom and sister complained that it dried out their face too.

I have dry, sensitive skin. I thought this product would work for me since CD specializes in natural products. I put this on my face at night and the next morning my face was bright red, with a rash. I had to put some vitamin E on my face and I took an antihistamine. I was disappointed. I read the ingredients and they are not all natural. So far, I have not had any problems with the CD hair care products, but I can't use this moisturizer.

I've only been using the face butter for a couple days and I'm quickly falling in love with it. I was a little apprehensive at first because I have sensitive skin and I was afraid that I would break out. So far so good. My other moisturizer leaves my face kinda greasy. There's absolutely no greasiness to the face butter. It leaves my skin nice and soft. Love it.

I had to comment because I'm somewhat of an unlikely user. I know that your products are very popular with African women. However, I am a white man who has always had dry skin. I heard about Carol's Daughter because I work in the cosmetics industry and I overheard my VP talking about your products in a meeting. I was quite impressed with your success, your philosophy and your ingredients. Six months later I was in a mall in Jersey City, New Jersey and I found one of your stores and decided to try Face Butter. It has to be the best face cream I've ever used. I'm amazed! I love the way it feels, there is no heavy fragrance or perfumes, only the soft aroma of the natural ingredients. Most importantly, my skin is better than ever. Face Butter has saved my skin. I live in Buffalo where the winters are long and brutal and my face would be so tight and dry, I was really at a loss. A friend recommended face butter and let me tell you after 1 use I noticed a big difference. It no longer hurts to smile lol. I use it now in the summer too, especially after a day in the sun. And a little goes a long way so it is a good value too. At first I was like, what?!?!? this jar is tiny but it actually lasts for months. And I can throw it in my purse. Highly recommend for dry skin!!!

This product is very good for people who have very dry skin but for me, this product made me break out horrible. It took a few days for my skin to calm down and the bad acne to go away some. I would never use this product on my face again, but I will use it on my elbows and knees in the winter time. And also the smell is not foul, but its not pleasant also.

The Face Butter is better than the $50 face creams i've bought. It moistures my skin all day. I keep one in my car and one the house so I always have it! Best!!

The face butter is really good for the dry areas my face. it is not too heavy and smells great!!!

I just got my order today and my mother and sister was the first person to try the face moisturizer and they fell in love. They both had a beautiful glow all day long on their face and their face didn't look greasy at all! But what really had my sister and I sold was when we put the product on my niece (sisters baby that is 6months old) and on my other niece's (brother's daughter that is 2 years old) face. They both have bad eczema break outs on their face and instantly it made their skin soft and smooth and hydrated looking all day. I really wish they made this product came in bigger sizes like 8oz at least. This miracle is too good to just be in a 2oz bottle. I was skeptical to buy this product because of the size and price but it is worth it because there is nothing like it anywhere! Try it you wont regret it!

i purchased the face butter just one week ago.. results came in just two days!! i had dry patches on my face for over a year I've tried everything from drug store products to spa treatment (facials) now my skin is clear of dry patchy flakes, moisturized & soft (with a little sheen).Im getting so many good comments on my skin.I dont reapply through out the day like i used to with other products that i purchase from the spa.once a day last all day!! I had my last facial done the other day with no more appointments in the future..thank you so much for making face butter.. im a customer for life..much love

Acai facial butter is awesome! I've used plenty of moisturizers for dry patches in my face especially in the winter. Acai facial butter has totally end all of the dry patches and leaves my skin beautiful . I will continue to buy it!!
