I have been using Minoi products for over a year and my hair is much longer and healthier! I tried using expensive salon products, but my hair started drying out, so I am sticking with Minoi.

I'm white and have fine, curly/wavy hair. I currently live in Germany and it is pretty dry even though it rains a lot, so my skin and hair have been a lot drier than where I've lived before. I've been trying to find a sulfate-free, dimethicone/silicone free shampoo and conditioner that has primarily natural ingredients. The Monoi Shampoo and Conditioner were the perfect answer. This S&C have made my hair smell amazing, softer, and gently conditioned. My hair feels clean after shampooing and the conditioner has not weighed my hair down at all and left my hair with a bit of shine. I cannot comment yet as to whether or not the products have strengthened my hair, but after the way it feels after two shampoos, I don't really care if it strengthens or not. This will definitely be my new go-to shampoo and conditioner. Yeah, it may be a bit expensive when compared to products you can buy at Wal-Mart, but the ingredients are great, it doesn't take a lot of product so it will last a while, and it isn't expensive when compared to other salon brands. So, I fully recommend trying out the Monoi set.

I was told by a Carol's Daughter worker that this product was not for my type of hair- I wear locs that fall about to my lower back. I decided to try it anyway since I had read several reviews from sisters wearing locs. It's wonderful. I love it. Chances are, I will never use another shampoo/conditioner/mask combination again. I have color treated locs, and, since I tend to use generally lighter colors in my hair, my locs were negatively affected. My hair has been especially dry and weak as a result of this. Since using the Manoi combo, there has been a noticeable enough difference that my husband commented on how healthy my hair looks :) It feels so wonderful and moisturized and the scent is HEAVENLY! It stays in the locs so that even when the hair is dry there is no fear of the funky "old towel" smell that generally comes with having locs (which of course compels us to pound a million different products to mask the scent). I recently also bout the Manoi serum and am totally in love. Carol's Daughter has me in their matrix :)

So, I hate to write a bad review, but I feel that everyone must know this so that it doesn't hap[pen to them. I already had (emphasis on "had") healthy natural hair. After using Carol's Daughters Monoi treatment system the first time my hair looked really nice. After the second application on month later I noticed that my hair was dry and a mere shadow of it's former self. i shrugged it off, then, decided that Monoi must be the culprit after eight years of healthy natural hair. A month later i thought to my self, You know, I had heard so many good things about Carol's Daughters that my less elastic drier hair must have come from something that I did. I tried one more time. My hair became stringy and overmosturized. it was soggy dangly, and most of all sliding away from my scalp. I had very thick, dense, curly hair, now it has thinned out completely. It had to be cut significantly and my edges slipped out or combed directly out of my hair. The middle of my hair thinned out really badly. My beautician said it would take a year to correct this with treatments every two weeks. Do not use Monoi unless your hair is really damaged, perhaps do not use it at all. I don't really want to say that, because the reviews say that it has helped many. It had the reverse effect on me. My hair is now very thin and damaged because the product was too strong for me...or my hair was healthy enough to not need the product. Think about it before you buy.

I do enjoy the Monoi shampoo but the repairing conditioner had my hair feeling hard and brittle. As many have I made the purchase due to problems with heavy shedding and thinning hair. This was not a problem for me before; I have had chemical-treated hair for years, and when you are use to thick, fast-growing hair and then it begans having a 180 reaction, you begin searching for the Right Repair system for you. I'm not blaming CD Monoi products by any means, but I will say that it may be more for those for natural hair rather than those who do want to continue to use chemicals, but STILL have healthy hair, because it is POSSIBLE. I plan on doing as the customer rep said, " Give it to friend since not all hair works the same with hair products."

i wear locs and I put in a non permanent hair color every 8 to 12 weeks...professionally done..i maintain the twist myself....but my hair has been thinning for the last 5 years.,..im taking vitamins specially for hair...my hair grows fast but with the thinning...why brother...every time i wash and twist my hair i find hair in the tub...on the towel...and when Im twisting it sheds...BUT NOT ANY MORE!!!!as soon as i received the shampoo and conditioner along w/the oil...i shampooed my hair and conditioned it...no hair in the tub, no hair on towel...no hair shed while twisting....incredible, but its the truth....im 57 yrs old and most of my life i was told i had beautiful hair...people still say they like my locs but they dont know what was really going on....my hair is on the road to recovery

I started using the Monoi shampoo and conditioner about two months ago. I actually bought the shampoo, conditioner and mask for my Mom for Christmas but it mysteriously ended up in my possession. (hmm, I wonder how that happened? ;-) Anyway, I have been using it and have seen far less shedding than i did before I began using this product. And it smells really good which is also a plus. So if you are considering buying this product... GO FOR IT!! I promise you will not be sorry! And before i forget, I am 1 year natural!

What can I say this is excellente!!! No, breakage, shiny hair, can run my hands thru my hair. I have tried Ojon, Wen while they are good, the Monoi is better quality, and better value. Keep up the wondeful products.

I am 62 and washing my hair was not a good experience. I was seeing too much hair loss,dull and thinning. I knew about Carol' Daughter hair products but I thought it was just another expensive product on the market.I decided to try it when it went on sale. I love it. There is shine, lack of hair loss when I shampoo and no hair shedding during the day. The hair feels strong and I do not need another product for volumn. ( I did get the conditioner) My hair feels full and strong.

For eight years, I've dyed, straightened, curled, blow dried, teased, braided, and styled my hair, but the older I've gotten, the more difficult it's become to balance a coloring and styling regime with the health of my hair. Then, after I've towel-dried my hair, I take a nickel size amount of the conditioner, add a little water, and work it through my ends. It's light-weight, calms frizz, and smells divine! I doubt that I'll ever stray to anything else. Carol's Daughter has given me hair bliss and the ability to grow out my hair without the fear of looking like a cave woman. My only problem? I think I'm turning into a Kardashian: I can't stop touching my hair!

I love the scent, the softness, and the shine. It really delivered in the strengthening department. If you like this also try the hair repair mask with monoi. Its excellent.

I saw lisa selling this on the TV and had to have it. This smells so good in the hair. My man was biting my face! It really works too. Soft hair and none breaking. Just like she said!

I had been using other shampoos for years that were cheaper and they all seemed to work but all of a sudden everything started to dry my hair out really badly and then came the breakage. I have naturally curly hair and usually wear it straightened in the colder months and curly during the summer. I was reluctant to try this duo because of the price and I felt that there had to be some kind of alternative with a better price. A sales person at Macy's talked me into buying the started kit and I am glad that I did. I was able to squeeze out two uses out of the kit and I could tell a difference in my hair the first use but could really tell a difference after the second use. My hair feels stronger, looks healthier, and it smells great! My husband loves the results and is also glad that I can get rid of all of the other products that are cluttering up the bathroom. I am not a person that likes to spend money but I have received great results and will gladly continue purchasing from CD.

I have thin hair and with this combo set neither weigh it down.

Bought this product with high hopes that it would help my relaxed tresses. IT DID NOT! It left my hair a tangled mess! I was so disappointed. Monoi is very expensive and it was a waste of my dollars. I love the Tui products and will continue to use them. But, this is certainly not for relaxed hair. I gave it to a friend, whose hair is in its natural state and she LOVED it. I guess, this is for natural hair and NOT chemically treated hair. Ladies, don't let this product dry out and tangle your relaxed hair.

It really works. I do not believe everything i hear or read so i tried it for myself,after the first use i had absolutely no breakage my hair felt really soft and manageable (i do not have a perm) it also smells really nice. I also used the hair mask, the best I truly love this product.
