I just tried the Monoi Oil Sacred Strengthening Serum and the results are awesome! I used it as a leave-in conditioner on my natural hair and it exceeded my expectations. After blow-drying, I noticed that there was hardly any hair in my brush...Yeah! I then used the flat iron and immediately noticed the amazing shine and bounce, not to mention the velvety smooth texture of my hair. It didn't take serum which is great for people like me with fine to medium hair. This product is the best I've tried since transitioning. It is a bit pricey, but I can't deny the results. I have relaxed hair and come from African American, Native American, and Caucasian decent. I recently used the Monoi oil Sacred Strengthening serum on my relaxed hair, I washed and conditioned my hair with the Monoi Oil shampoo and conditioner. I was disappointed by the performance of the Monoi Oil Sacred strengthening serum. I haven't noticed a difference in my relaxed hair with the Monoi Oil shampoo/conditioner or the Monoi Sacred Strengthening Serum. I figured if I spend thirty dollars on something it would have been worth the money. I'm convinced that these products are not for relaxed hair even though there is an entire collection for relaxed hair. These products may work only on natural or transitioning hair. I have a very good relaxer that I received from the salon, the moisturizers and shampoo and conditioner I purchased from my local supply store works wonderful on my hair. These products from the beauty supply helped with the shedding,breakage, and gave my hair awesome shine.

THE OIL IS GREAT >I HAVE PERMED HAIR AND IT HELPS KEEP MY HAIR FROM BREAKING., BUT IT IS TOO COSTLY FOR ME TO USE REGULARLY, i AM ON A FIXED BUDGET.

I read the great reviews about the Monoi Oil. Had to make the trip along with my granddaughter to Carolyn's Daughter Harlem location to purchase it. I also read the poor reviews regarding the customer service. I experienced such wonderful customer service. As soon as my granddaughter and I entered we we're greeted so warmly. I just went to purchase the Monoi Oil. The sales assistant was so nice, I purchased a gift set for my daughter for Mother's Day and a gift set for myself too.

One of my favorite things from CD. I use it to seal my ends for my wash n' goes. I let my hair dry about 85to 90% then gently scrunch the Monoi oil into my ends and put a light coat over all of my hair. It's light so it doesn't weigh my hair down, just leaves it nice and shinny. Won't ever be without it!

The more active a lady's life, the more she needs good hair care. Running from the gym, to work, to school, with kids and in ever changing weather, my hair often needs a little oomph. This is a great product that has helped my hair retain moisture and bounce. Good texture, nice soft scent and works very well! I plan to purchase again.

Great product and it does what Lisa says it will. I use it on wet hair after I wash it with sulfate free product. It makes my hair look great. My issue is the bottle is too small and the pricey is very high. I have to use it sparingly because it is so little an amount and so pricey. This stuff is great, but come on...if this was a man's product it would cost half as much. Men get everything handed to them......but I love this oil. I would give it 10 stars if the price would come down.

I have refrained from relaxing my hair for over a year. I have soft hair and would only get a touch up twice a year. Recently I started experiencing hair breakage especially when washing my hair or after styling. A friend suggested that I try the Monoi collection from Carol's Daughter. The results were nothing less then AMAZING... I took these products to my beautician to use on my hair, and she couldn't believe the results. I am white have long black course hair, and have used all the name brand oils this ones my favorite leaves my hair like silk and smooth feeling, can't forget the mimosa it's right next to the monoi oil on #1 favorites. Carols Daughter is the best also the Monoi shampoo doesn't wash your hair color out down the drain thats a super big plus love.

I'm new to CD products and all I have to say is.... WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG. This monoi oil is amazing. I have used the whole bottle and my hair feels great. The best way I can describe is it feels so light and natural. I have thick ,colored, and permed hair. I don't get into the hair type thing. My hair feels like its never been permed. My hair swings and it doesn't feel processed at all. I have used other products before and even after washing my hair felt stiff and processed.This is best stuff on earth. This is definitely a product I can't live without. CD has a customer for life!!!! I even tired it on my daughter hair. Her is thick and curly. It gets very tangled. So I called myself experimenting and tired it on her hair and it makes it so easier to comb.THANK YOU!!!! I recently purchased the entire line of Monoi products. I am pleasantly pleased with the results. After the first use, my shedding hair was reduced tremendously. My husband also loves the product because my hair is no longer all over the bathroom floor. I am completely sold and I no longer allow my beautician to use anything else on my hair.

Absolutely my new go to serum/hair oil. So many pros! A little goes a long way which is always nice. I have mostly 4a some 4b hair that is prone to frizz and lacks shine. Since using this product not any more! I used right after co-washing on wet hair and the styling was so much easier, had much softer hair, my spirals stood out and "popped>" with out the frizz and craziness that comes with it. And my hair has such a lovely shine now! Also noticed my co-washes following the product use (have been using about a month ad a half) detangling is not an issue anymore and my hair is just soft and lovely all the time with very little shedding and beautiful ends. Cant ask for anything better! Thank you!!

I purchased this product because I was experiencing minor breakage, shedding, and frizzy curls. I used this product along with the monoi shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask...after following my regular regime ( wash, detangle, condition, & deep condition) I sectioned my hair into four parts and applied the serum...massaged it into my hair...paying attention the ends...and MY GOD...my hair is so freaky soft! I just recently dyed my hair and I have not felt my hair this soft since....who knows!!! My suggestion: BUY IT!!!!!! It may be expensive, but a little goes a long way and it is great for color treated hair,shedding, and frizzy curls!!! My hair no longer sheds like a canine and no breakage...and this was after one use. I will continue to purchase this product...for now :)

I just Luv, Luv, Luv, Luv this product. I only used it 3 times and each time it has transformed my hair. I purchased the Monoi Serum and Split End Sealer 4 days ago and I immediately saw results. The serum and the split end sealer do work. My hair has fused together and is soft, shiny, smooth and manageable. I did it myself over the weekend and it looks better than if I went to the salon. My hair is about 14 inches long, I dont have a perm, and I wear a wash, set , and wrap style. I thought the investment was high but I saved because I can do it myself.

Simply said; This stuff is a miracle. I have tried Monoi Oil from other manufactuers, but it didn't have the same effect on my hair as this Monoi Serum. The other Monoi oils were too oily and weighted my hair down. This serum doesn't weight the hair down at all. I love the delivery system. I am African American with natural hair below my shoulder hair length, that is bleached My hair is curly/wavy and looks like I have a relaxer when it is flat ironed. With that said, the serum has immediately stopped all breakage and flat ironing my hair is no big deal. I am not a big fan of the Monoi conditioner or shampoo, but the Monoi serum definitely has turned me into a Carol's Daughter fan. Try the serum, you will not be disappointed!!

I have long thick straight hair, its always been prone to oilyness and Ive always had problems with shedding,This is the most amazing line of products I have ever used!! I am using the shampoo, conditioner, and oil I noticed a difference the first use but after the 3rd use I noticed when I dried and used my hot iron there was no hair in my sink!! Amazing that has never ever happened before, and my hair never feels or looks oily, it smells wonderful. There are tons of products that make claims like this but I have yet to find one that comes through until now. Try it, its well worth the money....which by the way isnt much as hair care products go and you need very little of this oil it will last a very long time.

I just ordered some CD shampoo from a shopping network where this oil came included free. I absolutely love it already after just one use. It is light, yet you can tell it is working and it smells divine. Will definitely incorporate into my daily regime.

Just started to use this product, and I saw and felt improvement the next day. I had this happen with another product that starts with an F. I support this company, but the price for this little size is not acceptable. It should be 8 oz at a minimum for black hair care, but for long thick hair this will not last a month. I am so mad......give me more product. I see my complaint is restated in many of the reviews. I hope someone is reading this, and puts more product in the bottle with out making short cuts. You have something great on your hands, and many different hair types can benefit from so don't change the formula, just add more!!!!!!

I really like this product. It tames the frizzies and smells awesome! My only complaint is the glass bottle. I accidentally knocked it over on the counter and it broke. Lost half of the contents. The glass bottle is pretty but maybe a plastic bottle would be more practical (and probably cheaper).

Carols Daughter products just seem to be getting better and better! Lately I have been using this product as an all in one product after I wash my hair! It leaves my hair shiny and SOFT!! I love the monoi line, mainly this product, the split end sealer, and the monoi mask! This is a great product and I'm sure you wont regret buying it either!

I was at my wits end with my hair! I wear it in a short natural. I take a lot of medications that affect my hair plus I color it with a soy-based demi-permanent product. Ni began to have a lot of breakage even tho I regularly use CD products. I made an appointment with my dermatologist because I was, quite frankly, scared to death! I have tried many of CD products and have used them for a few months now, although I have had to use other products in between because of lack of funds but for the past two months have been consistently trying to use CD products consistently. I just received the Monoi oil in the mail two days ago and I tried it right away and wow instant difference. I wanted to wash my hair and try it then but I figured why not try it right now and wow I am impressed how silky my hair looks and feels-shiny and moist. The product is light. I am trying to lean toward the Monoi products due to my hair is always breaking in certain areas and when I use the Monoi products I see an instant difference even if I just use one of the products. I have been going natural for about 5 years and I feel my hair just does not grow like it should. Well it grows than breaks which is why I wanted to try to go natural after having relaxers for many years. This is one reason why I am attempting to use one product and stick to it to see if it truly makes a difference. I will wash my hair soon and can't wait to use this product again. Although I do like some of the other products, I just love this one so far.

I've been using the Monoi shampoo, conditioner and hair mask for about a year and a half and I've noticed the drastic change from the first time I used it. I recently added the strengthening serum to my hair regimen and my hair remains smoother longer and I feel more comfortable blow drying my hair knowing that this product protects my hair from heat damage. I just got the whole Monoi line and I like how it feels in my hair, so far so good my only complaint is the price, a stay at home mom of two, it is hard to justify paying this kind of money for hair products, even with the membership discount...but it is on all my gift lists and when I get a special treat for my self it is something from here. Don't get me wrong, I do understand why it cost what it does, the quality is impeccable and I love that it is natural, that is soooooo important to me.

Honestly somewhere in the name of the product Carol's Daughter Should add "truth" serum! I purchased during pre-order, used it for the first time a couple of weeks later. My relaxed tresses have been silky ever since! My hair is now smooth. This product is a must have if you wear your hair in a wrap style. My hair doesn't feel weighted or oily but ohhh the shine! My hair feels strengthened! I feel like I can sail right through these last few weeks of NJ winter with ease. No breaking on coat or sweater collars, not as much shedding period. I can't wait to try it on my pre-tween's should length natural hair!

I love this stuff!! i have sengalese twists and lately the loose hair at the end looked really dry. my real hair underneath was dry as well. Lemme tell u....I put this stuff on and my sengalese twists were so soft and the loose hair at the end was silky feeling. then i used the Monoi Oil with some coconut oil and my real hair underneath felt super soft!!! This product is a must have! The smell is so yummy and exotic : )

Since having my hair relaxed 5 months ago, I've continued to care for it as many natural women do -- minimal cones, no sulfate cleansing, low manipulation styling and no direct heat. These methods and the entire Monoi line has helped keep my long relaxed hair well cared for and free from dryness and breakage. I also use the Macadmaia Hold and Control on my edges and the Macadamia setting foam for a beautiful, soft bouncy air dried braid out. My only problem was that after moisturizing my ends nightly, my hair hated every oil, lotion or cream I used for sealing. I went from fluffy bounce to stiff and weighed down. This Monoi Oil Serum is the first thing I've ever used that seals, doesn't ruin the light, product-free feeling in my hair and has no cones! When I read the product description I couldn't order it fast enough. Finally my regimen is complete. And a little goes a looong way. Definitely a holy grail product!

I've been using all of the other products in this line for about 7 months. Ran out last month and was using obviously a harsher shampoo. My hari returned to it's old dry shedding self. I received this after pre-ordering and after a few days my hair looks much better. Of course it will take a while to go back to where it was, but this product works after only a few days.

I too, bought this at the Pre-sale. I love the Monoi line and I was excited to try the latest product. It smells great, feels light on the hair and keeps my hair frizz free with lots of shine. I use it before roller setting, wrapping or blow drying my hair. My hair is relaxed, shoulder length and frizzes easily, especially in high humidity. I am trying to grow it longer and I hope this and the other products help me on my path to longer, stronger healthy hair.

I purchased this during the pre-sale (and it was on sale AND I got it through Ebates.com to get some money back). I love the Monoi line. Like most of the reviewers, I have the entire Monoi line (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, hair mask and split end sealer). I love, love, love the smell of the Monoi line. The smell is there in the serum but not as heavy as in the other products in this line. The oil is light and gives my hair great shine. I didn't give it 5 stars because when I got the product in the mail, the bottle had leaked around the cap. Overall, a great, great product. I can't wait to keep using it to see how my hair responds over time.

Let me start by saying that I have & love the entire Monoi line! This product smells amazing & it's very light, so it doesn't weigh my hair down. It also seems to bring out the natural shine & luster in my hair. I was hoping that the product provided more frizz control, but as long as it makes my hair stronger, I would purchase it again.

I've used it to seal my relaxed hair while air drying. I put it on washed, towel-dried hair and it is very penetrating and light. I also use it once my hair has completely air dried. This is a super product and can be used a variety of ways. I've been using the Monoi line since the beginning and this is an addition that I now cannot do without----a must have superior product!!

This is a great product! I have thick, course hair - I was expecting that a few "drops" would not be enough to cover my hair, but I was wrong! Not only did it penetrate my thick strands, it gave me a beauitful shine. My hair looked healthier and stronger after just one application! This is a definite hair styling must!
