I love the macadamia shine mist! I have shoulder length hair that is treated with Keratin. This is the only product that I use that really gives my hair a smooth finished look. I use the shine mist half-way during my blow-out and I set in velcro rollers as I dry each section. Be careful not to over spray -- you will get a too much shine and it'll weigh hair down. So better to go light and even add to brush rather then directly to hair. I really love this product because it transforms my hair into silky manageable locks. Hope this review helps.

I am a sucker for having nice shiney manageble hair for me and my daughter and I must say I used this finishing shine mist on Monday night after washing and conditioning my hair and today is thursday its still soft, shiny and manageble. I have come to the conclusion that I will sacrafice and pay money for the Carols Daughter products before anything else. I am about to start using her face and body products that I ordered yesterday. I been using the Tui oil and some other hair products here and there but its back to using on a daily.

I absolutely love this product. It is very light weight and gives me the right shine. I am natural and I for years I have suffered with extremely dry scalp. At times my scalp is so severe that it looks like I have "craddle cap" or white patches in some parts. I admit that I only purchased this product because the sales clerk "swore" I would notice a difference in my scalp. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! I currently have twists and I've had them for about 3 months. So far I have NO sign of flakes or white patches. My bottle has lasted up until now and I am going to purchase more ASAP!!! A very satisfied customer :-)

I got this spray as part of the Transitioning Kit for Protective Stylers and used a few spritzes of it to "freshen up my weave," as the kit suggested. I have an S-wave remy hair install with a really beautiful and natural looking wave, and the spray made it look super-greasy. So much so that I decided to spot-wash my hair, even though I was about to go out 15 minutes later. The spray worked better on my flat-ironed relaxed hair. I think it's probably a great product for most African-American hair types... but DEFINITELY NOT for weaves. I'll save it for after my big chop.

I tried this product as part of a kit and this was the only product that I didn't really care for. It did not give the shine that I was hoping for and it seemed as it may have dried my hair out a bit. It smelled OK, but the smell was a little bit off from the other macadamia products.

Give a good healthy shine, BUT be sure to spray it on a comb or in a brush, or in your hands to apply.

I bought this product because the title said Finishing Shine Mist. I was expecting the spray to spray like a nozzle and diffuse out into my hair. Instead this product comes out more like a squirt gun. So rather than spray on your hair at an angle it just clumps into one spot and if you have locs then this would not be something that you would want. At the time of my purchase they ran out of the Tui Sheen which I am use to buying but I tried this thinking that the way in which the product came out would be similar. This is certainly not a shine mist so if you are looking for that do not purchase this item.

i love this spray it makes my hair look and feel amazing and it smells so good i probly use more of it then i should but idc because its so awsome i even use it doring and in between class best spray ever:)

I am definitely a skeptic and I'm definitely one of those people who believe that since your hair is all dead protein, there isn't much you can do to fix it. I have very thick mixed hair, it's natural, I straighten it, it's 3b/3c in the front and more of a 4a in the back and it's around shoulder length. I'm almost 19 now and I started damaging my hair right around the time high school started, so my hair hasn't gotten past this length since and I've only trimmed it twice. My hair actually grows pretty fast so it's needless to say that breakage is my biggest enemy, I converted fully to Carol's Daughter in March and I'm never going back. I purchased Jada's Dynamic Duo, The entire Black Vanilla collection, the Macadamia collection, the Mimosa hair Honey, Kizzy's stay put hair Pomade and Marguerites magic. (Just Pre-ordered the Monoi Line :D)I use all of the products once a week as a system and I can honestly say I no longer shed like an animal, shedding and breakage are minimal. My hair would break EVERYWHERE! My floor would be covered by the end of the week. Gross, I know. Sorry for the Bio, but to know how a product will work for you, you have to know what you’re comparing it to. I can't testify for the effects of this product alone but I can say that the shine mist for me is awesome for giving me that non greasy shine that lasts and I didn't notice any buildup and I only wash weekly. I'm not a huge fan of the smell though, it's not bad, but not good either.

I wanted to try something new to add shine to my hair styles. I thought I would give this a try. I love the smell but after you spray the shine it doesn't last more than an hour. I have tried using a couple sprays and then a few sprays, it doesn't matter. it's not a long lasting product. It's okay when I use it to flat iron. Won't be buying this again

I love this product. I have been using this product for about a month and a half and it has done wonders for my hair. My hair is very dry and often get dandruff. In the past i would use hair grease which would weigh my hair done and leave it lifeless. Since using macadamia weightless shine mist my hair stay shiny for days and i hardly get any dandruff. I'm very happy to have found an all natural shine spray! This is very light, but make sure to use sparingly or it can get oily. Makes my hair shiny and moisturized and has a very faint pleasant smell. Please don't ever quit making this!

if you don't wash your hair every 3 or 4 days this mist will leave a not so pleasant odor to your hair. I have been a Carol’s Daughter user for over 3 years now (hair milk, various leave in conditioners, healthy hair butter, Marguerite's Magic, hair balm, healthy hair butter, and more) and this is the first product I’ve used that I’ve experienced this with. I initially used it on my hair but wanted to confirm it was the product so I tired it on my daughter’s hair and the same thing happened. Excellent product but just be prepared to wash your hair every 3 or 4 days if you use this.

This product is true to its name. I spray on after I've styled my hair with Hair Milk and it gives a beautiful finish that does'nt weigh my hair down. It's about the only thing I've ever used that keeps my hair frizz free for days and smells amazing! I'm ordering more!

I was very ready to try this product and I have to say I am highly disappointed. The oil doesn't absorb well into the hair, the smell is definitely not the nutty aroma that I was expecting. It should be listed as having Macadamia in it...not as Macadamia shine because its not that at all. Overall I'd say maybe this would be good for someone with permed hair, its not so great for my thirsty locs. I really wish their was a store in Florida so I could try before I buy.
