I absolutely have to have this product with my hair regime at all times. Great for detangling after washing. I can't find no other product to replace it .Leaves it easy to comb through without any snarls and leaves very soft. Smells great too. Have to keep it in bulk because my 15 year old daughter uses it as well. Plus my mom steals it from me.

I am a cosmetology teacher and Ive been using this product for years. Started using it when I had a big ole afro. I would spray it on as a detangler. At night I would put 5-6 big two strand twists in my hair which made it easier to comb out into a 'fro the next day. Problem was, sometimes my ends would be too tangled and hard to comb through at night in order to two strand twist it. In comes the Black Vanilla Leave in Conditioner. Spray it on my ends, add a little Tui Oil and comb right through them with my huge Afro comb. My only problem with this is that it can leave the hair a little hard and brittle once it dries. Resolved that problem by transferring into a larger spray bottle and diluting it 1:1 or more with water. Which also stretches it out and saves me money. Killed two birds with one stone. Great product.

I have many carol's daughter products which I have been somewhat pleased in using. I have now transitioned to natural hair and I needed something to provide me with more moisture. Immediately I went to the site looking for products. I took my time and read the information and purchased the black vanilla shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in-conditioner. My hair is very coarse and it is also dyed. This makes the scalp even more dry. I received my products and was excited about them. I have now used them for 3 weeks or more and too my amazement breakage has appeared. I noticed how my hair was shedding more when I did my hair, but I thought that it could have been because of the weather. Now people are asking me if I cut my hair. It is obvious that it has broken off. I have decided that this product is not conducive for thick, coarse hair and does nothing for moisture. I have not seen a model that has my hair type modeling your product. I don't foresee me using these products in the future.

I purchased this product because I've always had luck with Carol's Daughter hair products, however within 3 days of using this my hair was so dry I had to discontinue. The smell is great (sweet vanilla fragrance), but this just is not for me. Sorry, can't recommend this one.

Works wonders for getting out those hard knots and tangles that comes with bantu knots. The one set back is that I do not like the smell or the fact that it is kind of sticky and makes my hair feel funny if I just let it sit and not style it.

I have relaxed hair and have been using the Black Vanilla leave-in for over a year now. I use it on my wet hair after shampooing. Leaves my hair smooth, easier to detangle, and smelling great. It leaves a light vanilla scent on the hair days after. Would recommend for a light conditioner.

So far my hair has been liking this stuff, im wearing a protective style now with braids, and a lace front wig over them. I take it off at night and spary this all over them and apply my jojoba,almond,tea tree, and peppermint oil mix to my scalp and braids afterwards and my hair sucks up everything, so im assuming its liking the daily moisture of all the products, i had the tui leave in and i found that 1 to make my transitioning hair hard unless it was used with other products, so i think for the majority of ppl using this n its not working for them. Try using it along with another product n see if u dnt get better results that way, i plan on using this everytime im wearing a protective style with my natural oils, n it smells simply amazing, such a soft sweet smell

I have VERY dry, coarse, kinky, but porous natural hair. After making the "chop" in 2007, although not so big because my hair had been cut into a Halle Berry style for years, I opted for wearing braids and twists until last year when I would occasionally wear it in a curly style achieved with a 1/4 in barrell iron. One of the first CD products I tried in 2009 was the Black Vanilla line and I remain a committed convert. I've tried some of the other CD product lines, but the Black Vanilla still produces the BEST results. If you can't purchase anything else from this line I absolutely recommend getting the leave-in conditioner. It detangles like nothing else on the market and the scent is wonderful! I've also started using a transitioning product that allows for better straightening when I choose to do so and wouldn't think of blow drying my hair without applying this as I comb through it. I promise that THIS product will make all the difference in lessening or eliminating breakage between your transition foam product and the blow drying to straightening stage.

Other than the lovely smell, this product was horrible to my hair..it lathers, it left my hair dry brittle and you could actual hair the crunchy sound of my hair..I had to rinse it out of my hair , immediately due to fear it will break..worst money spent...

I have used this product along with the accompanying shampoo. I usually use this as a style my locs, with went hair I style it as I like and then use this conditioner. The conditioner holds my locs so there isn't any frizz. If you have frizzy hair than it holds them which is great! I have been using Carols Daughters products for about two years now and have learned to trust their products. This is a great product by itself or with other Black Vanilla products like the shampoo. This is a great product to use daily as a styler before leaving home.

I tried this before on my natural hair..I wasn't a fan because it felt really dry. Got it as a gift and paired with my Hair Balm...and I must say the two together are perfect. I will use the combo before I blow dry or to do a twist or braid set. Hair was really soft shiny and FRAGRANT!!!! Really enjoy this one now..but had to tinker with it.

My hair is very thick, course and often dry. This product works well in adding moisture and assisting with detangling. It has a nice, soft smell that's not overpowering or annoying later in the day.

I was eager to use this in my 18 months old daughter hair as her hair was quite dry. It was most disappointing, I saw very little change if any, at times it left her hair feeling sticky. I recently replaced this with the Black Vanilla Conditioner, which has been a proven winner! It has corrected her dryness. I now use the Black vanilla shampoo, conditioner and honey hair mimosa hairdress; a win, win combination.

For some reason my browser is only letting me give this product 5 stars from the looks of it.. I would give it 4 stars. While I spray it on my hair wet it helps detangle, but I'm not sure how moisturizing it is. HOWEVER, my favorite way to use this product is on my dry hair. Every morning and night I spray my ends and I think it does help prevent environmental damage/breakage. It doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy (which i hate) and it smells really nice.

I purchased the BLACK VANILLA MOISTURIZING LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER a few days ago and it has been a game changer for me! I'm italian and have very long, thick hair with heavy waves. I'm a chef and always have to wear my hair pulled back (buns and braids are my staples). I generally only wash my hair twice a week because its such a chore and washing it always seems to increase the damaged/breakage. Before using CD products I used a normal shampoo, a TON of conditioner and (gasp!) a children's detanger, and it would still take me a good 10 minutes to brush out my hair. After using the Monoi repairing kit (shampoo, conditioner, mask) and then applying the leave in conditioner, it took me, AT THE MOST, 2 minutes to brush out my hair. I know this is a review for the leave in conditioner, BUT, seriously, if you have long hair thats really prone to breaking and/or EXTREMELY fragile when its wet, BUY THE MONOI REPAIRING LINE! I have only used it once and I am hooked for life! Although CD is now marketing to women with all types/textures of hair, I was a little concerned that my hair was going to be overly moisturized. I used the shampoo, conditioner, and monoi mask, PLUS the leave in conditioner and my hair was perfectly moisturized. I had one very slightly greasy area, but I think I didn't rinse my hair well enough in that area. My only tip to other women (with my hair type) is to only use the leave in spray conditioner on the ends/bottom half of hair. I used it more so as a detangler, and not so much a leave in conditioner, so I only sprayed it where I get tangles. I've only used this product on my hair when wet, but I'm excited to see how it works on my hair when it's dry.

Perhaps it's just me, but CD's Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioning spray did NADA for my hair! I have locs and wanted something that would moisturize them and keep them smelling good (I work-out @ least 3 times per week). Don't get me wrong it smells divine, but as far as moisturizing my locs it has not succeeded. My locs actually feel drier throughout the day after I've sprayed this in the AM. I really wanted this to work out, oh well the search continues...

I ABSOLUTELY love this product!! Its lightweight, smells wonderful, and detangles my hair as easily as the label suggest! I have type 4a hair and have been transitioning since December 2011. I started using it around May when my permed hair and new growth started becoming hard to manage for my twist outs and it was great then and it has continued to be awesome thru my big chop in July to now !! I realize that every product does not work for every hair type but this has become THEE staple item for me and my twa !! Looking forward to trying the hair milk products very soon!! Thanks CD!

I love this leave in conditioner for my locs. I use it daily. Every evening between washings, I spritz my hair and then brush with a softy bristle brush both from my hairline back then lean forward and brush from the nape of my neck forward. All the grime of the day is eliminated and lint dissapears. The smell is amazing (and I am NOT a fan of he smell of vanilla usually. It keeps my locs soft and supple and my husband loves it. I just have to remember to do this about two or three hours before bedtime so I don't go to bed with damp hair! And it does have to be thoroughly washed out come hair walking time!

Lucky for me I got this product for free with one of my orders. I remember using this product years ago when Carole's daughter was new to the scenes and I loved it. However at the time my hair was straight. While my hair was straight it was very moisturizing. I stopped using CD products for no particular reason when I went natural. I've been natural for about 3 years now and I decided to go back to CD because I wanted to stick to one product line. N E ways I was excited to receive this and when I washed my hair with the Moni line and spayed the BV leaving :-( my natural hair hated it. It made my hair smell wonderful but did nothing for my kinky tresses. In fact it dried it out. I use it on top of other leave in that's moisturizing to my hair along with olive oil and coco nut oil shae butler mix. It seems to work great in tandom with other products. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing this ever once I'm done. I'm giving it a two because it works on straight hair and it smells good so it's not a complete fail. If it was called hair perfume I would have given it a 5 hands down.

This product is fantastic for numerous reasons. First and foremost, it is of a more natural base of ingredients. I have EXTREMELY hyper-sensitive skin. Most products that are hypo-allergenic, created for sensitive skin, acne prone skin, etc., still break me out. That's how sensitive I am. This did not irritate my skin or break me out in any way. You can have peace of mind that you are not coming in contact with harsh toxins that typically irritate, not only skin, but the body in general. This product is effective without the use of unpleasant chemicals and silicone. It has a very pleasing scent, like a cross between vanilla and a subtle coconut. My boyfriend keeps telling me how great I smell.The scent workes extremely well with the scent of all of the shampoo/conditioners I've used. It very effectively detangled my hair after my shower. I noticed that after using this, my hair does not break as easily when running a brush through it. It also made my hair very soft and added a nice shine without looking greasy, like some leave in products tend to do. It didn't weight my hair down whatsoever. I am in need of a haircut for my split ends, but I can say that this has moisturized my hair enough that since I've been using it, I've gotten compliments on how healthy my hair looks. Little do they know I have dry, split ends and need to get to my hairstylist for a trim! The bottle sprays in a nice fine mist so it doesn't overload any specific area of hair with too much product. I spritz it on my damp hair from about 12 inches away from my head. I only use it on my hair from my ears to my ends. I have long hair, down to my belly button, and it takes very little of this to get the job done. This bottle will go a long way. You've got nothing to lose in trying this product and you'll likely find that it will be a new permanent fixture on your bathroom counter! (=^_^=) <3

I have been using this product for literally years, since 2004. I have gone through many hair products in that time, but nothing has done what this product does to my hair. I notice it more than ever now that I have grown my hair very long. My hair has become very picky! But this product has never let me down. It makes my hair soft and moisturized without weighing it down. It also brings out the layers in my hair and gives it a sexy wavy look. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I will never go without it for as long as I live!

I like to use this on my hair, morning and night, just to give it some moisture and shine. One thing I don't like though is that it leaves my hands feeling a LITTLE sticky after I work it through my hair.

I brought this product on a whim, although I'd been looking for a product to help detangle and moisturize my hair. I was at the Macy's counter (inquiring and hoping that my favorite fragrance "Groove" had returned to the CD shelf, sadly, it had not) when I discovered this fabulous product! I just decided to try it. I'd had good results with other CD products, so I took the plunge, the beautiful scent is what sold me. I'm so glad I decided on this product. My natural hair is soft, curly and the sheen is beautiful. I've not had this combination of results with any one product that I've tried. I'll not be without this product in my arsenol, this is definitely a keeper!!

It smells really good, but it dries my hair and my kids hair out. I had since Feburary and it is now apirl, i did that so I can make sure I can give a good honest review.

Last week a co-worker and I visited the counter for Carol's Daughters at Macy's on 34th St. (NYC), the representative was like the best ever! We purchased hair products. I then asked what i could use to help clear the under the skin blackheads, she directed me to 3 products, i asked if i could try samples. I went home and tried it out that night(I made it last Thurs through Sunday), it did wonders to my skin, i will purchase the Acai Clarifying skin care set, yeppie, no more powder foundation. This is my very 1st product from Carol's Daughter! And i love it! i got my package in 5 days! I just started using it two days ago and my hair already feels very soft , moisturized and it smells delicious! My hair easily gets weighed down when i apply products but this makes my hair feel soo light and i can whip my hair back and forth and my hair actually moves!! I cannot live without this detangler! I have been growing my hair long and detangling/combing my hair was causing breakage. I use conditioner daily without any help with tangles.I use CD when my hair is damp (before blow-drying) and it works like a charm...if I don't wash my hair the next day, I can spray on the "dry" ends of my hair and they soften up and look wonderful. I honestly can't live without this product. I just wish they had this in a travel size!

This smells good, but didn't really do much for my hair. It left my hair hard to comb through. I don't think this one is the best fit for my hair type. I still love the product line and will try Tui next.

I have been wearing locs for about 2 years now. My hair is curly, thick and soaks up any moisture like a sponge. Recently I colored them with a product that completely irritated my scalp and dried my hair out. Ive been itching for about a week now and have tried just about everything. My products arrived today and I spent some quality time with my locs and the Black Vanilla spray...I also used the hair honey to touch up some of my frizzies and topped it off with Lisa's Hair Elixir...and my scalp feels AMAZING..can't wait to see what happens in a few weeks after regular use!! This leave-in was exactly what I was looking for. I wear braid outs and twist outs the majority of the time, and usually they are a bit stiff and don't move very well. I washed and conditioned my hair as usual, and instead of using my usual leave-in, I sprayed the Black Vanilla Leave-in Conditioner into my hair before I braided it for the night. I left it to air dry, and oooh my hair was sooooooo soft when I took out the braids. I could run my fingers through it with ease, it was SO soft and moisturized, and it had a lot of shine. It was absolutely one of the best braid outs I've ever had. Not to mention the smell is amazing. Once my bottle runs out, I will definitely be ordering 3 or 4 more. Thanks Carol's Daughter !

I ordered the Black Vanilla moisturizing leave in conditioner from Macy's with a gift card and I am so excited - it works so well and I am caucasian with dumb blonde hair that was so dried and fried, and it has brought it back to life and beauty, restored the color and smells beautiful. I also have the scalp elixir and my daughter and I love it. We love you Carol's Daughter!

I have been using this product for 2yrs. I thought it was for Afro American texture hair, Im caucasion and have thin, streight hair, this product is AMAZING, and smells soo good. I even put it on my body for hydration, Thank you for making such a good product.

It smells good. I guess it is moisturizing at the end of the day. My problem is the cost of the product vs how much you have to use. I just got it and I'm spraying like crazy. At this rate, I will be out of this in about 2 weeks. I don't know if it's worth it. I could get some Carrot Oil and I think the only difference besides the lowered price is the smell. This is very watery. I'd skip it.

I love the Black Vanilla Moisturizing leave-in-conditioner because it smells great and my hair is manageable now more than ever before...an excellent detangler & conditoner! I would recommend this product to all of my family and friends.

Lisa, your products have got to be, without a doubt the greatest products ever created. I am a 46 yo Scottish woman with straight auburn hair, no body and course as all get out. The very first time I tried your Black Vanilla Shampoo and Leave in conditioner my hair was baby soft and the BODY it had. I was completely blown away. Since trying them for the first time about a year ago I REFUSE to use anything else on my hair or body. I love your shampoo's cleansing gels, conditioners and fragrances, most of them anyways. I wish you would bring back the sugar dipped vanilla roller ball though. I Got my sister to try your products as well and she also fell in love with it. She could not believe how soft one use made her hair feel. If I had my way, everyone on the planet would use nothing but Carol's Daughter product's. Also, it is kind of fun for me because my mothers name is Carole, spelled with an e at the end, but I have her using your wonderful shampoo's now to. Simply put, this is the best leave-in conditioner, or any kind of conditioner I have every used! It is perfect for natural hair! I did a rod set using this product without a hair dryer and slept with the rods overnight. My hair looked like it was flat-ironed and hot curled! My hair really loves Carol's Daughter! It's a little pricey, but it's worth it if you want healthy hair

So I used to use this a long time ago, stopped, and when I went to the CD store I picked this up along with the new Chocolat line. I LOVE Black Vanilla Leave-In. It's such a wonderful and gentle moisturizer, great to use for every day lightweight moisture. I have relaxed hair. I spritz my hair with some in the morning, gently rub through with my hands and comb. Wonderfully soft, strong, moisturized, detangled hair! I wish I had gotten the shampoo and smoothie and I think I'm going to go back and try the Black Vanilla line instead of the Chocolat (which was ok, but left my poor hair dry.)

I am head over heels in love with this product. It is wonderful for my hair. I use it everyday. The added moisture over time has made my locs so soft!! I do hope the fragrance comes in a lotion and rollerball soon. It is one of my favorites.

My mother in law came home with this product for her natural short Afro, my daughter intercepted the product and used it on my relaxed hair. The results were absolutely remarkable, my wet tresses detangled with ease, smelled delicious and the shine remains brilliant several days later. I forgot to mention the softness!!!!!! I have never like the vanilla flavor or scent, so I want to try the Tui leave in.

I am absolutely impressed with this conditioner. I used it on my 5-year old daughter's hair and by day two I noticed how soft it had made her hair without any buildup, and it took care of the tangles which was may main concern. I'm amazed at how this product moisturizes. She is African-American but has fine hair that tangles similar to those who are Caucasian and Black. I would definitely order this again.

Oh my gooseness! I never write reviews because I think it's pointless but this stuff is sooooo wonderful that I had to write one. I'd continue to use the conditioner just for the scent because it is absolutely divine. I used this on my hair almost every day for the past two months while I was in braids (and also for about a month before I was in braids), took my hair down yesterday and it was super-duper soft and not all hard and difficult to comb through like it usually is when I take my braids out. It had also grown somewhere between an inch and a half and an inch (not sure of the exact measurement because I didn't use a ruler). It was definitely worth the purchase because I've had the same bottle since late-June/early-July and the bottle still isn't empty after daily use for almost 3 1/2 months now AND it improved my hair. I'll definitely be purchasing another bottle and using this stuff for like, the rest of my life. :)

I love love this spray. I've been in transition for awhile and wear kinky twist. This spray does the job, non-greasy, no mess on clothes, and smells wonderful. I get compliments on the smell all the time. My only issue is availability, had a bottle and it was hard to get more. Hopefullly, I can keep up my stock.

Carol's Daughter's hair products are a bit overrated. I've used the Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner amongst other products (Lisa's Hair Elixer, Black Vanilla Hair Smoothie, Black Vanilla Shampoo, Some of Marguerite's Magic). The products left my hair dry and tangled. My hair is now relaxed (has been so for years now) and I've never had any problems with manageability and tangles except for when I went natural way back in high school. The only thing that's great about the Black Vanilla line is that it smells really good. For comparison I used the leave-in conditioner WITH the other Carol's Daughter's products and with other hair products from my old hair regimen, and it didn't do anything for me. It's a shame that the prices are inflated AND the products are overrated. I'll stick with Aphogee and all natural coconut oil and continue to use Carol's Daughter's skincare products.

I was using this product as my only leave in to test if it would be enough. I sprayed when it was wet and when it was air dried. I found myself spraying my hair a lot and I used this product up in 3 weeks. I started feeling like I was spraying scented water on my hair that wasn't really doing much. I decided that I didn't need this product in my regimen and went back to using my other favorite Carols Daughters products such as the Healthy Hair Butter.

I love this product!!! I use the Black Vanillla leave in conditioner everyday. This is my go to product that I apply every night when doing twist outs or braids. My hair love the daily moisture replenishment of this product. I love so many products by Carol's Daughter. My Mom died 6 1/2 years ago. I just came to terms with it last year. I was crying like a baby, turned on the TV, saw "Carol's Daughter" on HSN. My Mom's name was Carol, making me... It was like a call from above ; ) I was so impressed with her products, I had to try some. I bought the Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner (and more) because my hair tangles so easily. As I've gotten older, I'm 51, my hair breaks and falls out from a thyroid condition. Been using the Vanilla Leave-In for a year and have notice a huge difference when combing after a shower. I don't use chemicals and my hair has lost it's luster through the years, of course. I've tried everything!! Now, it's soft, shiny and strong like it was when I was a teenager! The smell is luscious!!! I still smell it when I take my next shower. I'd recommend it to ANYONE. Worked miracles for me.

i have to say that this was not my favorite product. my hair sucked this up and did not detangle. I guess my hair was just too thick and dry for this one.

I purchased this product after using some of Marguerites Magic to condtion my ince of newgrowth and I must say i did feel the difference in texture immediatley. It was very soft and smelled good. however after it dried it didnt feel soft anymore....not sure it that is the way its suppose to be. I have about 1inch of new growth and about 5inches of relaxed hair. Next product to try is going to be the BV Smoothie.....

I bought this conditioner as a detangler for my biracial (black/white) 2 year old's curls. The smell is awesome, even she loved it, but it left her hair feeling hard and more tangled than before. I REALLY like Carol's Daughter products, but this particular item didn't work out.

I came across this product thanks to a rep. at the Harlem location. "A little is all it takes" is what he said---and he was right! I've used this for both my and my toddler's hair when I just don't feel like putting any other products. It keeps my hair feeling soft to the touch and looking shiny and healthy. One thing: I tried to use this product with the Hair Milk Curl Definer and found that it was too much for my hair. It works just fine by itself! I would recommend this product yo anyone!

I love this hair product. I am addicted to it. I love the black vanilla products. I used to have dry hair, I've been using only CD hair products for the past month & my hair has changed. I've been using the leave in spray for a few months & it alone changed my hair. Now I use the black vanilla herbal shampoo & black vanilla hair smoothie (loving it), leave in conditioner, mimosa hair honey for the frizz, hair milk lite for the curls & Tui Jojoba & Shea Butter hair sheen for the smell & nice feel it gives my hair. ALso, Mary J endorses this product, that is also one of the reasons that I broke down & started using CD hair products exclusively.

This smells really good but does not conditon the hair. My daughters hair was crunchy the next day so I thought maybe i should use it for a few more days to see if it needs more but it did nothing but make it shrink and left it hard. This is not a conditoner, should just be called a refresher and nothing more. It did add a little shine just as the other products. I had to return mine and just got more hair milk instead.

There has NEVER been a shampoo or conditioner for my hair that smelled as good or washed as clean and non stripping as BLACK VANILLA SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER.Now when I say smell I mean not the smell you get when you first place a produdct on your hair but the SMELL that last for days and when I take down my twist I can still smell the vanilla. These are wonderful products for my natural hair and when I travel on my job and recieve compliments I become a "CD" spokesperson. THANKS Ms LISA

So I am mixed with Puerto Rican, Japanese,and black . I have a hard time finding things to keep my hair moisturized as well as looking healthy. THIS WORKS WONDERFULLY.I use it daily and also use other Carols Daughter products with it. No matter if I am natural or straightened (flat iron only, not relaxed) It works wonders and leaves my hair smelling GREAT!! I even use it in my daughters hair .

I love this leave-in conditioner! It's the first Carol's Daughter product I've tried, and it's amazing. I just put some on my hair after I showered about an hour ago, and I could tell the difference very quickly as compared to my usual shower. As my hair dried it was a lot softer and less frizzy than usual. Will be buying other products to try soon! I would also like to say that Carol's Daughter has excellent customer service. My first bottle I received was damaged in shipping. I got a squished box soaked with black vanilla. (Smelled good!) It was no fault of the company because it was packaged well as far as I could tell; it just looked like something heavy fell on the little box. Carol's Daughter handled it very promptly and without me having to go through a hassle on my part to get a replacement. The second bottle arrived quickly and safely! Thank you!

I wear my hair natural and free of chemicals (post cancer survivor!). I have found this product to be fantastic with the ease of 'comb outs' after shampooing(vanilla of course!) and for daily use. I prefer to use just before I unbraid my hair' it really helps to define the 'natural curl' of my hair. And the fragrance is WONDERFUL! I have received numerous positive comments!

I started using the Black Vanilla leave in last week on my hair along with Lisa's Elixir and the Rosemary Mint shampoo. I am relaxed and I normally use a cream leave in on my hair, I am finding that my hair loves the cream better than the leave in spray, my hair actually tangled more with the spray. I will continue to use the product so I can give a more accurate review, even if I am unable to use it as a leave in I will definitely use it as a body spray because it smells yummy! lol

I've searched for a long time for a product that would make my naturally curly hair healthy and tangle free. Within 1 use, i found my hair straighter and more manageable, my teenage daughters now use it everyday with combing ease. I think Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner works well and smells wonderful! I have tried many conditioners and none have worked as well as this one and I have been using the whole black vanilla set for over a year now!

I tried this and it didn't really work for me. It made my hair kind of crunchy and brittle. I tried eliminating other products to find the culprit, and the second I eliminated this one my hair was soft again. I had the same results with the other leave-ins. Now I use the Hair Butter and the Hair Honey with Hair Milk. I have coarse, kinky curls so maybe it's just my hair type because others seem to have good results.

What a terrific leave-in conditioner! I can't explain how soft my hair is. I have noticed in less than a week; my hair is not breaking as much as before. Thanks again, Lisa!

I have been using Carol's Daughter Black vanilla leave in conditioner for years. I have had natural hair for about 8 years now. I used it when I had twists and my hair never felt dry. I use it everyday and it helps to keep my hair moisturized, especially in cold weather. I have had sisterlocks for the past 5 years and I find that it really keeps my hair from getting dry, and wanting to scratch because it is so dry.

I am 100% natural and this is my first winter. While trying to find the perfect winter regiman I decided to order Black Vanilla Leave-in Condish...and OMG...my hair loves it. Water causes shrinkage when used to refresh my hair I now use my Black Vanilla Leave-in Condish and my hair loves it and so do I!! I can't wait to try the shampoo and smoothie also... I will be using this product year round... o and it smells devine!!!

I have been using the black vanilla leave in conditioner off and on for a couple of years. I'm not consistant when it comes to using hair products. I'm always trying something new. I must say that I really like the conditioner. I haveTHICK,COURSE, and DRY HAIR. Two weeks before my next perm, I would wear my hair in a ponytail and spray my hair with this conditioner. I would recommend this product. I have less breakage when I use this product. My hair is not dry. I recently decided to take this product to my hair dresser because I really like this product and it smells good. I'm trying to be consistant when using this hair product. I will try and use this product twice a week. I will keep you updated with my reviews.

I love this product. It's a true refresher, especially after working out, and washing your hair. It HELPS restore hair's moisture. I like to pair it with the Mimosa and the Jojobo Oil. Really helps PROTECT hair during the winter as well.

I wear braids for most of the year, and the black vanilla leave in conditioner is the only product that i have found that relieves the scalp itching i experience at the crown of my head. I use it daily and it not only works like magic, but smells fresh with just a hit of "smell good". Given I do not like the smell of vanilla, this product has won me over!! For all of you "braid wearers", do not go another day with obtaining and using this magnificent product!!

I bought the Black Vanilla leave in conditioner because I was looking for a product that could repair my damaged relaxed hair. I also was looking to find a great hair product that would be shipped to my FPO box since I am moving to Japan for work . I bought the Black Vanilla leave in conditioner at Sephora to try it out. Oh my goodness, I love the scent and the way the spray makes my hair feel and look. I usually get a headache from the strong smells of hair products. But this leave in conditioner has such a light but scrumptious smell. I am in love and can't wait to start trying all of the products !!

I was very excited about my first purchase of Carol's Daughters products. However this product is something that I would not recommend. After spraying this product on my wet hair, I was unable to comb through my hair for it was entirely too hard. As a result, I had to rewash this product out of my hair. It left my hair very hard and stiff.

My friend gave this to me among some other Carol's Daughter hair products. So far this one is my fav! She was moving, & some products didn't work well on her natural hair. I have relaxed hair & I love this leave in conditioner! It sprays on therefore it's not thick. To my surprise it doesn't leave a sticky residue on my hands. This morning before using the conditioner my hair was tangled, dry, & itchy, now my hair is soft, straight, & it smells GREAT! Thank you Carol's Daughter I will deff be adding this to my regiment!

I wanted to love the BV leave in but it didn't love me. The product left my hair extremely DRY and HARD!!! I washed with the BV shampoo and conditioned my hair....sprayed the leave in and styled my hair. Minutes later...hard, dry hair. I couldn't believe it! All I used was the leave in and EVCO to style my hair. The smell is wonderful! but the results of the dry, hard hair was just disappointing.

I have heard so many great things about Carol's Daughter's products from other sisters, so I finally decided to try one of their products myself, and it is the BEST decision that I could have made! I wear a natural afro hair style, and it can be very difficult to comb or pick through (even when wet!!). I'm hooked after the first try! My routine was always lather rinse repeat condition rinse towel dry leave in conditioner air dry shine serum. Using the Rosemary Mint Shampoo & the Black Vanilla Leave-In takes less time and makes my hair look so much better than it has with any other products that I have tried and I have tried A LOT OF PRODUCTS! I Absolutely Love the Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner. I've recently transitioned from relaxers to natural hair and I had a really hard time trying to find products that would condition my very dry and coarse hair. The Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner and Smoothie have done wonders for my hair. I receive compliments all the time and the smell is AMAZING!!!!!

I simply love this product. I was a little apprehensive to use this product on my 14 month twin girls but i am certainly glad i did. The Black Vanilla leave-in Conditioner works wonders on their hair by detangling making it easier to comb through. It also smells great. I usually spray the girls hair while wet or dry and it has the same affect. Also The fragrance appears to have a calming affect which allows them to sleep better after having been overstimulated throughout the day! LOVE IT

I use the leave-in condition at least twice a week with the Hair Milk to keep my hair shiny withoutl the heavy feeling and oily appearance.

I have faithfully used Black Vanilla Leave-in Conditioner for three years. I absolutely loved the product. Besides the wonderful smell it kept my dry hair conditioned and hydrated.

I love this spray. I use this on my daughters hair which is natural and usually in a braided style. When I take her braids down it's still shiny and soft and tangles are minimal.

Hello CD it is me again and I have to say when I met my husband he complimented me on how wonderful my hair smelled. I then introduced him to the black vanilla leave -in conditioner and now he spays it on his locs he loves how it feels and smells on his hair. Now we have to fight over the bottle!!! LOL!!! I have bleached and permed hair and experience daily hair shedding. Since I have used Bkack Vanilla leave Conditioner two weeks ago I have not experienced any hair shedding. I have used it twice in the two week period. I love it and will try other products as well. Also this product leaves my hair smelling really nice.

Got my Leave-In today love the smell and it works!! I have tried the Khoret Amen Leave-In and it is good but can not do the sage smell. Let God keep blessing them hands LISA it is a calling.

This conditioner is great! I was concerned at first that it wasn't a creamy condition because my hair seemed to do better with creams. HOWEVER i was pleasantly surprised to discover that this worked better than the creamy stuff:). It really helps my coarse hair to be shiny and manageable!
