I never write reviews but using the shampoo,conditioner and smoothie made my hair look and feel like it did back in high school! It is soft, shiny and has body. I have hard water and have been looking for a system that would restore moisture to my hair. This did the trick. I rotate it with the Monoi system and my hair has stopped breaking off. I love these products. Thank you so much. I can stop wasting money on products that don't work!

I DO NOT write reviews- usually just don't have time to. However, I HAD to stop and write this one. I am typically a "Don't believe the hype" kinda person. So, me trying CD products is a long time coming. Especially since it's everywhere. After coming to an epiphany to go naturally (currently have MBL relaxed hair) I started o get some damage that I am not use to. I turned to CD, and have to say that the bottle says that you will feel an instant difference---CHECK. My hair was so thirsty after a self inflicted overdose of Protein. After one wash with the Black Vanilla Shampoo, my hair is now satisfied. I used the whole trio- Black Vanilla Shampoo, conditioner, smoothie, followed by the TUI moisturizing Leave-in, AMAZING! smells so yummy the next day. If your suffering from dry hair, i would recommend this 100%! Now, that I'm, going natural, I definitely feel secure that I have a brand that can support me from beginning of my transition to end--and beyond!!

This set plus the Black Vanillia conditioner was the first Carols Daughters products I tried... I am a white guy with damaged kinky hair... After trying Everything out there the girl at the counter told me to try this... I shampoo twice a week and do the smoothie then just use the conditioner every day... I use ONLY your hair products now and they have changed the texture of my hair I cant say enough now im ADDICTED to all your products!!!

I was given a gift set of the Black Vanilla shampoo& smoothie conditioner for Mother Day. I took it to my beautician to use on my hair and she was very pleased with the fact how the shampoo moisturized my hair almost instantly, and this was the first time I had used it. I had very little shedding. Hardly any hair came out in my comb after washing it. This is great stuff. I plan to keep using it. I can see new hair growth already and it's only been 2weeks. WOW!!!!!

Before I found this duo, I dreaded washing my hair after getting it relaxed. My beautiful, shiny hair would become so bushy and dry in a matter of thirty minutes, it was frustrating!! All I wanted was beautiful, healthy hair like any other lady. My friend told me about Carol's Daughter, I've seen it on shows like the Tyra Bank's show, and I read my share of reviews on this very website raving about how it's a miracle in a bottle. I had to use it for myself. THIS IS NO GIMMICK LADIES!! My hair is soft, it's gleaming in the light, it smells AMAZING, and it's growing. Washing my hair isn't a thing I dread anymore. I am definitely a skeptic and I'm definitely one of those people who believe that since your hair is all dead protein, there isn't much you can do to fix it. I have TONS of very thick mixed hair, it's natural, I straighten it, it's 3b/3c in the front and more of a 4a in the back and it's around shoulder length. I'm almost 19 now and I started damaging my hair right around the time high school started, so my hair hasn't gotten past this length since and I've only trimmed it twice. My hair actually grows pretty fast so it's needless to say that breakage is my biggest enemy, I converted fully to Carol's Daughter in March and I'm never going back. I purchased Jada's Dynamic Duo, The entire Black Vanilla collection, the Macadamia collection, the Mimosa hair Honey, Kizzy's stay put hair Pomade and Marguerites magic. (Just Pre-ordered the Monoi Line :D)I use all of the products once a week as a system and I can honestly say I no longer shed like an animal, shedding and breakage are minimal. My hair would break EVERYWHERE! My floor would be covered by the end of the week. Gross, I know. Sorry for the Bio, but to know how a product will work for you, you have to know what you’re comparing it to. I can't testify for the effects of these products alone but I can say that I love this shampoo, it lathers really nicely and it's rich so I don't have to use a lot. It smells wonderful and my hair feels clean when it's all over. it also brings out more of my curl pattern which is always lovely. I Love love love the hair smoothie, it detangles like no other and leaves soft and very manageable tresses. I leave mine on with a shower cap for about 30 minutes.

I love these products!!!!!! The smell is amazing and it leaves my hair with a 3D shine that lasts until I wash it agian. Products that I used in the past have not given these wonderful results. I will definatley continue to buy this product and tell all my friends and family. I would have given it 5 stars but it didn't detangle my should length, relaxed hair as well as I thought it would but it is still a fabulous product non the less. Thanks Lisa!!!

I have been using the Black Vanilla shampoo and smoothie combo on my daughter's hair since she was 9 months old--she is now 2 1/2. There was a time when I couldn't get to the store to purchase them and resorted to another natural brand from Whole Foods. Won't make that mistake again!! This duo is amazing, the smoothie leaves my daughter's hair soft, detangled and smelling wonderful for days. I will never go without again, I now replenish online.

Black Vanilla Shampoo & Black Vanilla Smmoothie on my relaxed hair. Just two washes healthy, thick ,beautiful hair is on the way. FINALLY keep up the good works. Im not sure if I want to go natural yet. Please stay in busniess

Honestly, I was a tad apprehensive when I purchased these products, but I am SOOOO glad I did. Every single time I wash my hair it feels like I got a fresh relaxer. My hair is stronger, healthier, and shinier too! All I can say is THANK YOU!!! :D ~Customer 4 Life! <3

not wat i expected at all! i read the reviews of these products and thought this is wat i need. im in the process of going natural so i thought i would try CD. these products did not make my hair soft and manageable. I used a wide tooth comb to detangle my hair and i was still having trouble. i know i have thick hair but i did not expect so much hair loss while detangling my hair with the smoothie. the only good thing i can say about these products is that it smells good but it did not leave my hair soft and manageable.

I bought this to repair my dry hair due to flat iron and blow dryer, and this leaves my hair silky smooth and shiny. My hair looks super healthy. I do leave the smoothie on over night and shampoo my hair in the morning. After that i style as usual and the result was amazing.

This moisturizing set is so good on my hair. I have tried so many things and when I decided to go natural, I was still using the wrong products. After one washing with this shampoo made up for the last 3 wrong shampoos. The smoothie is great but even better for natural hair because in the winter months; the hair seems to get extremely dry.
