I recently purchased the duo to see what all the fuss was about. I am transitioning my hair to it's natural state so i wanted to make sure my hair and scalp would be taken care of.The rosemary mint shampoo smelled so good like peppermint,it really cleaned my hair and scalp.I loved the way it tingles on my scalp because my scalp tends to itch and be a little dry.The black vanilla leave in conditioner smells delicious and is great for when i set my hair.I am glad i brought the products. I will purchase more soon.

i really liked the shampoo, it made me see my curl pattern (1yr 6 month post relaxer. im just about fully natural a bout a inch of relaxer left) and my hair wasnt as tangled after washing. It also feels and smells pretty good. The conditioner is Great as well. i love the smell, as a detangler..hmm its ok, but as a moisturizer throughout the week its been working great, my kinkiest dryest part is the middle part of my head the rest of my hair is looser curls. but my middle has been feeling great this week! going to reccomend to my best friend!

Being in the Texas heat, my hair sweats and smells, OMG!!! So I purchased the products to help my hair with proper cleaning, like a detox! I am so happy with how my hair responded.. I used the ROSEMARY MINT CLARIFYING SHAMPOO after my pre-shampoo treatment of Olive Oil & Vinegar to help break up any product buildup! When I rinsed the shampoo, I never realized how much your hair retains in its natural state; it was not a pretty sight!!!! I then used the BLACK VANILLA LEAVE IN CONDITIONER prior to styling. I spray my hair and twist it while wet and then let my hair air dry....It responds amazingly & the smell of my hair is a light vanilla. Its wonderful for any person whether you are transitioning or relaxing your hair. I have been transitioning for almost nine months and I am falling in love with my curly hair all over again!!

I love this duo! not just for the summer, but all year round. I live in Fl and its always hot!! to me anyway. The Rosemary Mint shampoo, is just right. Its minty enough to feel a cleansing/revitalizing effect but the rosemary comes in and smoothes it out. Its a treat for my hair. Afterwards, my natural 4a/b locks feel just as moisturized as if I have oils in. Leaving my hair workable and able to be detangled; I dont feel a struggle to comb or fingercomb. Now! for the Black Vanilla Leave in....mmmmmm, smells YUMMY! I thought it would just be your usual spray/liquid leave in. With a wet but not moisturizing feel...wrong! My strands felt SUPPLE, SOFT and REVITALIZED. Whether I place it on freshly washed or two week old hair (Which I have right now), it makes my hair feel brand new. I can spray it on every other day or once a week. But it seems to keep my hair in place and soft as ever. There is a huge difference in Carol's Daughter's Black Vanilla leave in, than in your usual leave in! Become a believer...I know I am!

THE MINT SHAMPOO WAS SO GREAT ON MY SCALP AND HAIR, IT FELT SUPER CLEAN, YOU JUST NEED A LITTLE COMPARE TO OTHER BRANDS. I ALSO PUT A LITTLE OF ALMOND SHAMPOO I USE BY ANTHER BRAND JUST TO ADD MORE MOISTURE TO MY THICK LONG HALF NATURAL HALF RELAXED I HAVE BEEN GROWING OUT MY PERM FOR A YEAR NOW, I NEED ALL THE MOISTURE I CAN GET! I ALSO USED THE BLACK VANILLA CONDITIONER AFTER IT MADE MY HAIR SUPER DUPER SOFT WOW JUST WOW! THEN I FINISHED WITH THE LEAVE IN BLACK VANILLA SPRAY THATS JUST THE ICING ON A PERFECT HAIR CAKE DAY! I ALSO USED IT ON MY 2 YEAR OLD SONS HAIR WOW SO SHINY AND IT DEFINED HIS THICK CURLY HAIR! I LOVED BOTH PRODUCTS I ORDERED 2 SETS I WILL ORDER 5 MORE ASAP!
