My new growth is coming in pretty fast, but at different lengths all over my head. Is this normal?

DIANE SAYS:

Yes, it is possible for your hair to grow at different lengths at the same time. This happens when there are multiple textures on the same head. For example if your hair is coily or tightly coiled in a section of the head and wavy or curly in other sections, the coily hair might grow perhaps at a slower rate. There might be less sebum (oil production or circulation to those sections. You should start taking Biotin Vitamins and massage all of your head with essential oils and shea butter, especially in the sections that are growing at a less rapid rate. Try Carol's Daughter Lisa's Hair Elixir for your massage hair oil.
