This is AMAZING. I have tried absolutely everything thing in the store & this is my favorite. I mean i put the product in from a rough twist out tangled hair and before I put the creme my hair is SO SOFT and after putting the creme OMG my hair is SO SOFT & I can COMB WITH MY FINGERS!!! My hair is so soft after this I am in LOVE I use it about 3-4 times it really lasts. It works well with all their shampoos and conditioners (yes I have them all) but i think Hair Milk is the best my hair is so soft after using it with Hair Milk alone the two together is AMAZING... I love this &&& everyone I have told to try it LOVE IT

My hair is a natural fro which is very dry and the ends have become brittle and are splitting. I used the olive fusion yesterday and I left the smoothie on for about six hours. When I washed my hair it felt amazing. I left it to air dry which normally makes my hair unmanageable but once i put a combo of coconut oil and castor oil in my hair it was just so soft. 8 hours later and my hair is still soft. (Normally even if i use the oil combo my hair after washing it is still dry)The ends are not so knotted. I will be using this every week now as I love the feel its gives and I can finger comb my hair. Would recommend this product.

I like to use the Olive Oil Infusion on my hair for soft, moisturized and tangle free results. I would really like to see the Khoret Amen Oil and the Khoret Amen Smoothie in larger sizes.

So im not big on spending time writing reviews, no matter how much I love a product, however I have to say, NO MATTER WHAT your hair type, and how stressed you are trying to transition, (btw I have the kinky curly type resistant hair). I applied this let it sit about an hour and OMG my hair is super soft, with tons of body, and if you decide to heat style it, it will come out like you got it professionally blow dried, thats how soft your hair will become. I have been using this for about three months, just reordered another kit a few moments ago, So anyone out there who is discouraged and wants to run back to a chemical laden oh so awful fry your hair relaxer.....STOPPPP! Try this product IT WORKS!!

I am a fan of the Khoret Amen Hair Smoothie, but not a fan of the new packaged deal. Before they made this olive oil infusion kit, I was already using the smoothie with big old bottle of olive oil that from the grocery storestore and it cost me a lot less. I LOVE the smoothie, but I don't think it's right that now you have to purchase it with the tiny little bottle of oil for 25 bucks if you want to get it and you don't have the option of purchasing the smoothie separately. NOT COOL! I will not be buying this product anymore as result.

Hi Ladies! 'm about 5 months or so into my transition and it has been a love/hate process. My hair is mid-way down my back and I like to roller set it, so I'm doing the grow-out transition process. Oh, and I also have highlights done every 4-6 months, so my hair is pretty dry :). Today, I did my second "treatment" and I love it. The first time I did it on dry hair and the second on wet hair. Personally, I really didn't notice a difference in the product's performance. The only thing I do differently is sit under the dryer for about 30 mins and then just sit around the house for another 30. I quickly washed it with the Tui shampoo and conditioner. My hair is moisturized enough that I don't need any setting lotion, leave-in treatments, etc. I LOVE the oil so much that after my roller set, I massage a just a few drops to the back of my head where my new hair is the thickest and driest! I leaves it shiny and not heavy (such an important deet when you are roller setting). That's the only thing I add, because I like my hair light and fluffy. It's also great to help against damage from my flat iron. I'm not sure how often you are supposed to do the treatment, but I'm doing it every week when it's time for me to wash/set my hair. One box seems like it will last me 2.5 treatments, because my "new" hair is at war with my "old" hair, anything that will keep it from breaking is a welcomed gift. I think I've spent $300 plus on all sorts of products and this one has truly impressed me...best $25 bucks I've spent yet! Happy Hair!

I am a long grow out transitioner about 12 weeks in. I am using all Carols Daughter products they are doing great but I was noticing my ends were starting to dry out and used this product for the first time 3 days ago what a difference it made. My hair was softer shinier and the shedding was reduced significantly. I will be alternating with the transitioning kit, the co wash and this olive infusion kit. So far I love the results. I will be using the products on my daughter who wants to go natural also.

Just tried this for the first time today and it was eonderful in 4 months transition and the growth is thick and i hated coming it mostly pinned it up but today it was so easy to comb through and felt so good. I can say this is a product I will continue to use.

So I have type 4C hair and I like to call in type Z10 because it is soooooo dry; there is absolutely no curl pattern; and it breaks so easily. I has struggled to find a product to moisturize my hair and to make it feel soft. This does all those things and more. The first time I used this product I was coming off a 4 day old bantu knot out, I did not comb through my hair cause I was just tired to seeing all my hair fall out in my comb. So after following all the directions my results were AMAZING. I have never felt my hair so moisturized and soft in my life. I have used other CD product and still will but this will be a staple in my hair care regimen. I should probable order a few to have on hand just in case CD decides to discontinue this product. if that ever happened I would be devastated.

I have been using this product for 3 years now and I can hear my hair say "THANK YOU" every time I use it! I have shoulder blade length hair that shrinks up to behind my ears! It is kinky, coily and unruly but Khoret Amen smoothes it right out. I only comb my hair while co-washing using the smoothie. In sections, I liberally apply the smoothie, use a wide tooth comb to comb through my hair, then twist the large section. I don't rinse until my whole head is done. My hair is soft, detangled, conditioned and ready for whatever styling. My one complaint? You discontinued the shampoo!! PLEASE bring back the entire line and consider individual and/or larger sizes. But THANK YOU for making this painless. Literally!!

I couldn't believe it. The first tme i used it I had almost no hair in my comb- I mean almost no breakage! I have extremely coarse, dry and kinkykinkykiny hair! My hair is so tough, I looked at my mom and said " Thankyou" because she endured, without this miracle product back in the day. Absolutely love this product my new growth is so unmanageable im a newly transitioner i did not do a big chop or a chop at all just a trim and my hair is down to my bra strap and its tough with the two textures this was wonder my hair so freakin soft !!!!!! it was tough following the steps but ii did it without any breakage love love love love it !!

I'm trasitioning from lovely long locs(8 years) to long straight natural flowing hair. I stopped loc maintence 1 month ago. I haven't decided if i will take down my locs(take them out 1 by 1) or do the big chop. When my hair is washed I get rods and call it a curly day. My roots were acting a fool, dry, brittle no matter what i tried. After using this kit exactly as directed my hair was so soft and moisterized. My stylist loves it!!!! I'll be ordering it again and again. To maitain moisture i use Marguerites Magic a few times a week. My lovely locs thank you

I was kind of reluctant to use this product; not because I thought it was ineffective, rather there are 3 of us naturals in my house (myself and my 2 girls), so I knew that economically it would be a challenge. I finally gave in and I am sooooo glad I did. My daughters both have extremely tangled hair and it is usually a chore to wash just one of their heads. But now there are no complaints about hair washing time and both are all smiles. Oh and it did such a fabulous job on my own hair that everyone thought that I was wearing a hair weave after my hair was flat-ironed. This is definitely a necessity and now a part of my monthly staple! Thank you CD!!!

I go back and forth between braids and full head weaves a lot. And every time I take out my braids or have my weave removed I make my stylist use the Olive Oil Infusion set. It keeps my hair soft and strong and my scalp healthy. After you take out your braids or weave DO NOT WASH FIRST. Use the Olive Oil Infusion FIRST and then wash. It serves as an incredible deep conditioner. I promise you will like the results and there will be less hair breakage. My only complaint is that the oil and smoothie aren't sold separately and you will more likely run out of the oil before the smoothie. If this happens to you, buy Tui Moisturizing Hair Oil, the smaller size 2.0 fl oz. That will get you through until the smoothie runs out and you have to buy an entire new set. If you run out of the smoothie first, any of the other Carol Daughter's hair smoothies work just as well. Please sell the Khoret Amen smoothie and oil as separate products.

I received the Olive Oil Infusion kit today. Though I eagerly anticipated its arrival I was skeptical as some Carol's Daughter products did not work for me in the past. I followed the instructions verbatim and am pleased to say this product will be added to my hair care régime! My hair was extremely soft, and moisturized. Subsequent to washing the hair smoothie out of my hair, the texture remained soft. My curls were elongated and were not weighed down. I have a combination of 4a/4b hair. I intend to use this product again before I braid my hair as it will be braided for an extensive amount of time and may loose moisture while protected. Thanks for a great product.

I used this on my dry trasitioning hair and on my niece's natural hair that's so bone dry all the time. It was amazing. I am loving this product!!!

I was very disappointed after using this product because I did not see the results I kept hearing rave reviews about. I'm mixed and have tight curls, I wanted to add moisture to my hair but it made my hair actually feel rough and dry, and my hair was softer before applying the product. I am willing to apply the infusion to my hair again to see if the second time proves to be better. Hopefully it does, because I am discouraged from purchasing anything else from this line.

This product does exactly what it says for stretching my relaxer! I'm bi-racial (black and white) and relax my hair twice a year so it is more manageable. If I go beyond 6 months without a relaxer, the new growth is very obvious and unsightly, my hair is poufy (especially because I roller set it) and it is hard to put a comb through my hair when it is wet. The first time I used this product I was amazed at how my new growth looked like it was relaxed. I was blown away! And when my hair is wet, the comb just glides through. It’s been 8 months since I had a relaxer and before I could have never gone more than 6 months. I use this product every week and still roller set my hair and it is gorgeous, looks like my new growth has a relaxer and my hair looks very healthy. The smell is a bit strong when I’m using the product and does take getting used to, but it isn’t awful. The results are definitely worth it! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to stretch their relaxer.

I am all in for the Carol's Daughter line now. I was recently battling the dread D and F word dandruff and flakes. This product cleared it up immediately and did everything else the product promises to do for relaxed hair. I will be switching my hair care line. I hope to be writing more 5 star plus reviews about the hair care and body care line. I am also a big fan of the Mary J fragrance.

I have been natural for about 2 years. Lately my hair has become extremely dry and brittle. My scalp is very flaky. I was not sure where to go so someone recommended CD to me. This kit is the best thing from this line and after using it a couple of times, even after my big chop two days before Halloween, I can see why it is so popular. The Softening Hair Oil works well on my thick, kinky coiled hair, but the real star of this kit is the Khoret Amen Hair Smoothie. Finger detangling my hair is a breeze when I prepoo my hair with this along with the oil. It also defines my tightly coiled curls very well, making my small afro defined and detangled. Honestly, the people of Carol's Daughter need to sell the Khoret Amen Hair Smoothie separately so I can purchase two jars of that stuff at a time because it is magic. Also, the applicator tip that comes along with the bottle of hair oil - pure genius. It is truly my new "creamy crack" and my holy grail for my natural kinky hair!

I was very skeptical about trying this after i had a horrible experience with the tui mmoisturizing hair detangler spray and tui hair smoothie. the spray made my wet hair hard and the smoothie did nnothing but i used this and followed the exact directions and my hair has been softer than it ever has in months i had sew ins for a year then after i took them out my hair had grown but my ends were wrecked and myhair was dry this definitley turnrd it around and blowdring my hair was a breeze and i cant wait to wash my hair with it again i had planned to use conditioner but after i washed this out my hair was so soft i didnt need it wich was amazing can wait to get more stuff from here!!! Definitley try this if you have dry hair.

I LOVE this product!!! I cannot say it any other way. It is better than a hot oil treatment. I tried this first on my daughter's hair. After the shampooing and conditioning of her hair, I usually have to put some type of moisturizer on her hair before I flat iron it. But with this product, it needed absolutely no oil. Her hair was gorgeous, well moisturized, flowing, and she thought that she was America's Next Top Model (no lie). Next I tried it on my hair (after my Big Chop & going natural) and I must say that it has my little afro feeling extremely soft. my hair doesn't look as dry, and it has a shine to it. I tried this product last night and I LOVE it! I am 6 months post Big Chop and I have thick & coarse (4B-4C) hair. I was amazed at how easy my hair detangled with the product. I LOVE this product. While transitioning it gave me much needed energy and encouragement to continue. At the time I was very frustrated with my hair being in "two different worlds" , and after using this my hair was so soft and easy to manage, I looked forward to having it ALL natural and feeling that way. I used this treatment yesterday while I was cleaning my house. I put in on my hair first thing in the morning and left it for about an hour then rinsed and washed and conditioned with the chocolat hair smoothing kit and the hair balm and heat protectant and my hair feels great! I have never achieved these kind of results without having to use a lot of heat and a ton of product. I will be ordering another kit very soon! Highly recommend all of Carol's Daughter products.

I first purchased this kit while I was transitioning. I'm all natural now. I must say the oil is instant softness in a bottle. I wear my hair in puffs a lot so the ends can get dry (dare I say wash time.) I wet my hair a little and apply the oil. My hair feels like a different head of hair. It's SOFT, EASY TO DETANGLE, JUST WONDERFUL. The conditioner is an added bonus, but I LOOOVE the oil. My only wish is that Carol's Daughter would sale the oil by itself and in a large size. I would buy it by the bottles. It's that good! So Carol's Daughter if you're listening..... Great product.

For several months the ends of my hair have become extremely dry and my hair has had no curl definition. After washing my hair it was matted, dry and tangled. I have been natural for 10 months and always had color-treated hair. It seems nothing I tried worked .I got a gift card for Sephora and decided to use it to try Carol's Daughter Starter Kit consisting of co-wash, leave-in conditioner and hair milk. It helped my curl definition but my ends were still dry. I decided to order the Olive Oil Infusion because it stated it was great for Unmanageable Hair, dry, color-treated Hair & it soften and detangled hair. OMG! Although it was a process doing the treatment I have to say this product lives up to everything it claimed. After washing the Olive Oil Infusion out of my hair it was soft and tangle free. My ends were moist and I was so pleased with the results I straighten my hair for another look. My hair is healthy looking, soft and I have finally found the products for my hair. Carol's Daughter is the BOMB!!!

I DID IT!!!! I DID THE BIG CHOP ON YESTERDAY AFTER 7 MONTHS OF TRANSITIONING!!!! I used the CD Olive Oil Infusion Kit and it is the best. It left my hair moisturized and so soft. My curls were also gorgeous and defined. The oils softened my dry hair and the scent was very pleasant. My hair wasn't tangled after my big chop. However, the hair smoothie left my hair softer and well conditioned. I plan on using the Olive Oil Infusion Treatment once a week to keep my natural hair soft, moisturized, and manageable.

I had almost waist length locs and have been a big fan of the Khoret Amen Hair oil for years! Then suddenly, you couldn't get it without buying the set. I excised to go for it since it wouldn't hurt to give my hair a good infusion . I followed the directions on the video and package to a T, but the smoothie would not wash out of my locs. It took several long soakings in hot apple cider vinegar water to get most of it out, but I still had to cut some of my locs because of the, by then, grayish globs still in them. I must have cried a river! On the positive side, the Khoret Amen alone worked great as a hot oil treatment to retutrn the moisture to my shorn locs that were now extremely dry after the hot apple cider vinegar treatments. I kept that and gave the smoothie to my mom who has been completely natural for years. Her hair is thin and she was hoping that the smoothie would soften and moisturize, but she too has been disappointed and I had to get her some Tui hair oil to make up for it ( which she loves, btw). The bottom line, is while this combo may work for some hair types, it's a bad idea for loced hair and for other types of natural hair types like my moms. PLEASE bring back the Khoret Amen hair oil as a stand alone product. I adore it but can't justify buying a combo just to get it.

After contemplating whether or not to use the olive oil infusion treatment, I caved in after reading the reviews of the product. I was so excited to finally be able to comb my hair and not have the comb get stuck, and also not have my hair come out whenever I touch it. I followed the directions and watched the video over and over again, but my results were NOTHING like any of the reviews or the claims on the box. As I write this review, I have just as much tangled hair as before, and it 's so bad, I am going to have to cut the tangles out. I hope that I can rescind this review next week since a couple reviewers got results the 2nd go round..We shall see.....

After reading several reviews I decided to purchase the Olive Oil Infusion and I must say I works wonders! I applied it to damaged, chemically treated. And I must say I noticed the difference immediately. It leaves your hair feeling so soft and manageable. It also enhances you natural hair color. I have used CD products in the past but after trying the Infusion, I think I'm back home to CD! LOL This is definitely a keeper!

I have relaxed hair and I'm not intending on going natural. I like my hair straight... With that beign said I wanted to try an alternative to getting touch ups every 6 weeks. I hate depending on a touch up to make my hair managable again. Any women of color can relate when the week befor your next touch up is absolute hell. This is the solution to all of your problems. I decided to try this kit to see if it was really worth it! Boy was it! My roots was soft and could get a comb through without yanking my hair in the process. I only used 1/5 of the bottle, so that's practically $5 per wash. Compared to what I spend in a salon this is a fraction of the cost. I reccommend this product for anyone trying to prolong touch ups. This works so well for me. At first I was turned off because the prices on these products are crazy high so i had been putting it off for almost a year. But I decided to give it a try. I spend so much money trying to find good products anyway so whats another $40 right? I have 3c hair and it's extremely thick and frizzy. This product made my hair so soft. When i was rinsing it out in the shower i could detangle with my fingers(which i can never do no matter what "miracle product" i use). It makes me hair so soft. Im natural and have not gotten a relaxer in 1yr and 4months so i've pretty much grown my hair out. This was like a relaxer but not as harsh or damaging as a relaxer. This is good if your natural or relaxed because it works so well on natural i cant imagine how well it will work if your relaxed! Seriously, dont ever buy another relaxer again this works so well! You can also use them separately which is really good because it gives you a chance to try it different ways. I will definitely be buying this again for the rest of my life. Im sold on olive oil infusion. Try it!!

I recently tried this product twice. I must say the first time was horrible I followed the directions exact and my air can out the same still dry and brittle but then this week I used after I shampooed my hair, and while it was still damp, the results were awesome, my hair was so soft and moisturized; I could not believe it and I didn't even have to follow up with a conditioner I will be ordering again.

This is the first Carol's Daughter product that I purchase. I really liked the way it felt on my hair. I been natural for one year and I liked the way it brought out my kinky-culy texture. It made my hair felt really smoothe and easy to finger detangle. Diffinity will be getting this product again.

I recently did the big chop and decided to buy this product and I must say firstly, it kept my hair soft and secondly, it helped with hair growth. Another thing is that I have itchy, flaky scalp and when I use the product my hair don't itch as fast and much as when I don't use it. I would be buying it again for sure. I love all CD products. I have a love hate relationship with my natural 4B/4C hair...it is often dry and brittle looking causing my to sometimes give up. I had been using CD products for about a month then I stopped ($$$$) and now I am back (my hair loves CD products so got to spend so its ok). Before going to stock up on my CD products; I always come online to check prices (as they honor online prices) as well as review on products I think about trying. Long story short- I was eyeing the Olive Oil Infusion treatment for a while and when I went into the store, the associate there helped sealed the deal. I went home VERY skeptical because I felt the worker may have hyped it up a bit. I went through the motions of applying the product on seriously tangled and matted 4b/4c and left it on for an hour as suggested by the store associate for first time users. Needless to say, I FEEL IN LOVE TWICE...ONCE WITH THE PRODUCT AND THE SECOND TIME WITH MY HAIR ALL OVER AGAIN. It was so easy to detangle, it was super moisturized and in combination with the other CD products I use, I had the best braid out I have ever had in my entire year of being natural. Definitely a KEEPER!!!!!!!!!! Please try ladies and spread the word. This product has litterally changed my view on my hair!!

I used this product for the first time last week and I must say I was truely impressed. I am transitioning on the 8th month now my hair was so soft, shiny (hair to achieve since transitioning) and manageable. I did a blowout with the original hair milk and my hair was so straight and shiny it looked like I had a fresh relaxer. A must try product.

I read many reviews before purchasing the Olive Oil Infusion Kit. My hair is relaxed, and I'm about 3 weeks overdue for a touch up. Since my hairdresser went MIA- I had to fend for myself. I have been transitioning my hair since last summer by weaning off relaxers to texturizers and now totally free of those harsh chemicals since February. I wasn't sure what to do since it is a nightmare trying to do my own hair lately, since it is halfway down my back. I have been spending lots of $ having to wash my hair weekly with my hair dresser and she would prefer if I relaxed my hair to make her life easier. Anyway, I frequent to Carol's Daughter counter for products and when I was told about this one, I had to try it. I was floored with how manageable my hair was! It was so good. I followed up by washing out with the Black Vanilla shampoo + conditioner, along with the leave in moisturizing spray. I loved it! I let it air dry and blew out the next day with the Black Vanilla smoother mixed with the Macadamia heat protector gloss. I even flat ironed my hair and everyone thought I had a relaxer! It looked so good and professional. These products def were a financial investment but it saved a lot more since I would normally spend $40/week for a simple wash n set! I highly recommend the Olive Oil Infusion and the combo I used I think works marvelously for those transitioning with long hair. It's so delicate right now and I think it should be handled with care.

I have been natural for two years now, and was so incredibly frustrated with not being able to straight style my hair like it looks after visiting the salon. I have a lot of fine, but very curly hair with major shrinkage (50% or more). This product is now my favorite from Carols Daugher. It made my hair baby soft and smooth. After a blow out and flat iron job at home, my hair looks and feels silky like it was relaxed! Thank you so much for making this, and please dont discontinue it! I really fell in love with my natural hair all over again, and became more confident that I was on the right track for styling my own hair.

Carol you NAILED it on the head with this product. I Love love love this product. I finally order this product used it immediately and I loved the results. NO and I mean NO other products even @ the hair salon has EVER LAYED my hair down while washing it, it normally stands up or shrinks but this creamy crack layer my hair down and had me thinking I was spanish for a hott second the way my hair felt and looked while rising the product out. My hair was soft and manageable while washing and air drying my hair. I would recommend this to everyone I know, I can never get my hair to feel this soft while getting it done at the salon and i know this because I am one those women who touch their hair before I get washed and after the wash and conditioner. I just recieved this product in the mail and immediately wanted to try it on my daughters hair, she dose not have a relaxer and her hair is a tight curl she perfers to wear her hair straight but it always get frizzy so easily. Well when I did the olive oil infusion on her hair and washed , blew dry, and flat ironed her hair the results were amazing! Her hair was so soft and it looked longer so this product most definitly loosened her curls, her hair looked wonderful. I know that the next time I apply it will be even better. I love Carol's daughters products I feel good using them because I know they are natural and will not do any damage to my daughters hair in fact its the total opposite, I highly recommend this product !!!!

I listened to other people who tried Carol's Daughter products and didn't like them. So I foolishly waited a couple years until I decided to order something. I ordered the Olive Oil Infusion kit last week. My hair seriously needed help. Always had long thick hair, after pregnancy it broke off some and seemed more brittle. I also colored it which didn't help at all. I used this kit still thinking it wouldn't work. I haven't seen my hair look like this (this d@mn healthy) for a long time. As others have stated, my hair did seem to sigh Thank you lol. Amazing product. Shame on me for listening to them. Everything isn't for everyone but this is definitely for me! omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love love love this product. I bought it on friday May 25 , 2012 & used it on Sunday May 27 , 2012 on my daughters hair my daughter is 7 years old who has natural hair that is very dry and dull and hard to maintain. I cant braid so i take her to get her hair braided every 3 weeks because i cant do anything with it , well let me just say after useing this product one time i was able to put some twist and ponytails in her and i must say it looked adorable !!! her hair was so soft and managable that i was amazed!!! but that is not it on monday she went out with her dad and her let her get wet without a cap when she came home i was so upset because i thought i was going to have to go through the whole process of washing and conditioning it again but i blew it out and it came out the same way as it did the day before. I must add that while putting her twist in her hair curled up on the ends so her twist was BEAUTIFUL !!!!! OMG I am sold I finally found something that agrees with my baby hair. I think i have used every product in the regular beauty supply store but no more this is it for me. I don't usually write reviews but i just had to share my story. This is my first time using a CD product and it won't be my last. I am not one to leave a review however, I just had to after using this product.CD olive oil infusion is absolutely amazing ! My hair is in the transitioning phase and I dred having to wash my own hair because gets tangled and hard to manage once it's wet. Just after one use of the olive oil infusion my hair was sooo soft and very easy to manage. I thought I was dreaming. I blow dried my hair and yup it was still soft. This is a forever buy. It gets the job done. You won't be dissapointed.

I was really excited about trying this product, I haven't relaxed my hair in 8 months, unfortunately it didn't really do anything for my hair, it didn't help with the detangling at all. I got the Olive Oil infusion and the Marguerite's Magic together, I have noticed that there is less breakage after using the Marguerite's Magic for about 3 weeks. However my hair is still dry and my experience with the Olive Oil Insuion has left me skeptical about trying other products. I know that everyone's hair is different and that its unrealistic to expect all products to work for everyone in the same way, I'm just stating that this product did nothing for hair.

I have always been curious about the olive oil infusion I finally bought the product on a couple of days ago. I followed the directions on the box along with coloring my hair which means it has to be washed several times. I could not believe how this product tamed my natural curls and also laid down my edges. My curls are defined and I have no frizz. This product penetrated the hair shaft and now I am on day two after washing and my curls still look fresh. It is a pretty good buy for the contents in the kit. It does not have a great smell to it but it goes away once the hair is dry. This will be my staple product before washing my hair. I got so many compliments on my hair and I could not believe how I did not really have to use a comb and hardly any hair came out which is surprising during the detangling process.

I just purchased this kit and I am in love. I washed my hair on Monday without it and didn't like how coarse and dry it felt. I used the kit this morning (Wednesday) followed by the monoi shampoo and conditioner and what a huge difference!!!! My hair is soft, my scalp is not dry and the best part is my natural roots feel better than my permed ends! The last touch up I had was a little over 2 months ago. I purchased this product with the intent of helping to "stretch" the time between relaxers. Olive Oil Infusion lives up to what the descriptions say it will do. Follow the directions, especially the suggestion to sit under the hair dryer for 30 minutes with a plastic cap. My hair is very thick and the comb out was AMZAING ! I wish the smell was a bit more pleasant, however the scent does not linger after washing your hair and as long as the product works.....thats all I care about.

I didn't know what to expect with this product, but I liked the description. I am 7 wks post relaxer, and I have really thick, dry hair, although it's not course. My hair grows fast but breaks quicker, and so I've decided to try to relax only 3 times a year, instead of every 6 wks. I'm not patient, and so the new growth was driving me crazy. Olive oil infusion makes my hair feel moisturized and smooth. The difference in the textures is not so noticeable, even when I heat style (which I'm not doing much of right now). I tried to apply the concept of natural oils to the scalp and ends and a rich conditioner to the hair, and it's just not the same. I've just ordered two more to get me through a month. (I wash weekly and I get 2-3 treatments per package). LOVE CD

Olive Oil Infusion is just wonderful! I love it when a product works for me, my hair is a mix of 4a-c and I have be completely natural for 3 years. I tried it for the first time this past weekend and was amazed that I could comb through my hair with absolutly no problem. Normally I loose more hair during the combing process but this time I had a very small amount of hair left in the comb. I have to say it was unbelievable! My hair felt so smooth and soft that I was tempted to put nothing else on it after washing and conditioning it. I now have a beautifully soft twist out. I have been natural for almost two years and just tried this product today after leaving some mini two strand twists in a bit too long. I was terrified this morning that I was going to have handfuls of hair in the sink as my untwisted hair was very unruly and dry. Truth be told, I bought this last year and had forgotten all about it. But it's all good because I needed a miracle this morning and this product was the only thing on my mind. Let me say this- the oil by ITSELF was the bomb and I could feel it softening my hair even as I worked it through. Then, adding the hair smoothie was like icing on the cake. The knots melted away as I finger detangled, and I have very coily, coarse hair. I could see and feel the difference. I was hesitant at first but afte reading the reviews I decided to try it. I've been natural for about 8yrs now and I have kept my hair in braids since deciding to let it grow back after cutting it really short 10yrs ago. In the middle of growing my hair back I decided I didn't want a perm anymore and braids seemed to be the easiest style for since I love my hair just hate doing it. I've tried just about every product under the sun and nothing really worked well cause my hair is extremely thick and just pass my shoulders. So when I bought this product I didn't expect much but after trying I really like it. It made my hair soft and more manageable. It's still a hassle to style lol but it's softer! I will definitely be using it again at least until I get up enough courag to do the big chop:) So for those that are natural this product works.

oh gosh... where do i begin... i ordered this product mainly because it was always sold out! LOL, once it became available I wanted to see what made it such a hot product... I just used it on my daughters hair (she's 3 years old, very thick, curly hair, down to the middle of her back)... YALL once I washed it out of her hair, i fell in LOVE!!!! her hair has a beautiful curl pattern, this product helped it be more defined... it also greatly helped with knots after washing (no tears or "OW MOMMY THAT HURTS"...you owe it to yourself to try this... and if you're wondering, one box can probably do three treatments... so this is really an amazing deal!

I tried this product because I recently did the Big Chop, and wanted to do a deep conditioning treatment on my hair so that from the start it is well nourished and grows in healthy. I let the olive oil and smoothie sit in for about an hour (because I didn't want to sit under the dryer) and could feel it working in my hair! When I washed it out I used the black Vanilla shampoo just to give my hair additional moisturizing. It left my hair feeling so soft and beautiful. I have a mixed daughter with very thick hair. We have tried straighteners of all races.Nothing has made her hair "flippy" like she calls it.After using this we blow dried it and it stayed nice and straight and moisturized. She didnt even need any spray. She loves it. It will also make it easier for her to do her own hair. I have also recommended it to family and friends. They are going to be buying it soon. I just got the product yesterday. I opened it and put a little of the oil in my hair and it was soft right away!! I can't wait to use the product as instructed when I wash my hair. If the oil was that good I can only imagine how great the entire kit will be! I am already using the liquid pomade, hair milk and the monoi shampoo and conditioner. I've always had unruly hair, even as a little girl with the relaxer and I have the pics to prove it, which is why I have few pics now, as an adult, and known for ALWAYS wearing "the bun". I was a little hesitant to try this product especially since I have a couple shelves in the linen closet full of products that supposedly do this or that. After trying the Olive Oil Infusion just once along with the Tui Shampoo ((left this cleansing yet moisturizing texture before conditioner), Black Vanilla Conditioner (smells wonderful and left my hair manageable) and Mimosa Hair Honey (left my hair shining like a halo, with no weighing down). There has always been a family joke about the texture of my hair. I have Native American features, but my hair is completely Afro-Centric (seriously). My hair is so thick and kinky, the only way to come through it wold be too relax it, as it is soooo tense, lol. Well, my cousin learned about this product and she couldn't wait to try it on my hair. I actually had been going natural for a while, but always get discouraged when it's time for a touch-up. I can't stand the smell of relaxers and a texturizer. Whenever I washed my hair afterward ( i failed to get another relaxer and my hair continued to not only shed, but just plain come out), goobs of hair was in my comb, brush, all over the bed and the floor. I just allowed my cousin to talk me into getting the Olive Oil Infusion (i was on the way to the barber shop to get it chopped off and start over again), but after she used the Olive Oil Infusion, olive oil first, and then washed it with the Black Vanilla Shampoo and Conditioner, I wished I had known about Carol's Daughter back in August when I got the first relaxer in 6 years. This is an amazing combo. I figured instead of buying this I could make one of my own, it was ok but when I brought this around Christmas because of the sale. I used it because my hair just didn't seem to wanna pep up. This made my hair amazing. This was in December. I used again the next month and same great results. This will be a monthly treatment for me. My hair is absolutely better and loving this. I will videotape the next time.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT... This worked wonders on my five year old daughters hair. It moisturized the hair, made it easy to comb through and very soft. I blow dried the hair, and it blew straight, which is normally not the case. I totally recommend trying this product and i am going to use it on my own hair next.

Well I start off by saying I use to have natural curly hair until about 12 then I got a relaxer. My hair didn't do my breakage until about 4 months ago and I'm 22 now. So I have started to grow my natural hair back without the big chop because Im a sucker for straight long hair..I ordered this product to see if it will really give me the look of a relaxer and it did!! I bought this product a while back, and after the first use, I don't know if I could blow dry my hair without it. It is truly amazing. The smell is pretty strong at first, but do not let this discourage you from using it. The two-step process is pretty simple, and the leave on time is only 30 minutes. After I rinsed the product out of my hair, I used a sulfate-free shampoo as directed. My hair still felt incredibly soft even after shampooing. I then conditioned and when I went to comb my hair, I literally was amazed. I have been transitioning for over a year and my hair has never been this soft or manageable. I blow dried my hair and it was SO much shinier than it used to be. I am going to purchase two more kits (when my finances are right; CD products are pricey but worth it). I highly recommend this product to anyone with hair! Seriously!

This product totally transformed my hair!! I have thick curly hair. Lately my hair had been extremely dry with frizz here and there. After doing the hot oil treatment and conditioner my hair had perfect shiny ringlets. Even the conditioner on its own is wonderful!!

I used this tonight for the first time on my 15 and 11 yr old mixed chick daughters. One had very soft loose curls and the other is tight and kinky. The olive oil made it so soft and silky. I am the mother of a mixed chick with mixed-up dry hair. I hardly ever write reviews but I was so impressed with my daughter's hair after using this treatment. My daughter is 5 and has dry, thick, curly, kinky hair. Braids frizz up around the edges within an hour. Ponytails break her hair off. It has been a nightmare getting her hair combed especially since she is tender-headed. I use this product and you feel the difference instantly. I applied it with as much care as you do a relaxer. I also used a bit more Khoret Amen oil and a little bit of Argan oil right before I flat-ironed it. This is the first time I have not had to touch-up her edges in days. It has been 3 days and her hair is still straight and shiny. I am excited to wash her hair again in a week and not flat iron. Together with Hair Butter her hair will stay manageable and healthy.

this product just made transitioning a hole lot easier for me. i tried it last night for the first time and im in love. i followed the instructions as it says on the box, then shampooed and conditioned . i noticed alot less breakage as i detangled too. after i then roller set and later blew my hair straight. my new growth took to the blower like i justwalk out of the salon, it was so shiny soft and moisterized. i told myself i would write a review if it does work and it is all that it promises thank you CD!!

I have short fine naturally curly hair and due to color and gastric bypass surgery I noticed that my hair had become real dry and stopped growing. A lot due to the change in my system and the old products were not working. I visited the local store and this kit was suggested so I took the chance and bought it. I went and had a haircut and my hair dresser said that my hair was so dry,I immediately went home and tried the kit. Hands down this is the only product is loosening up my curls. I was natural for about 10 years and decided to go relaxed about a year and half ago. i am natural of 10 months already did the big chop and my hair is really kinky, coarse, dry, and thick. So i decided to use the oil infusion because it had so many good reviews on it. After using the oil infusion and shampoo and condition my hair i use the hair balm and healthy hair buttergreat stuff too. My hair felt amazing after using this product my style was holding, my hair was soft more manageable. This is a keeper.

I have natural hair and for the past year I have lost hair due to bleaching and abandoning my hair under weaves. I lost my beautiful curl pattern due to flat ironing and the dye chemicals. I used as directed. My thirsty hair felt fulfilled. Afterwards I followed it with my regular deep condition regmine of Rosemary Mint Clarifying (sulfate-free) shampoo and Black Vanilla Smoothie. Styled it in a two-strand twist. While twisting I noticed that my hair was lengthend (twisting stands took a little longer). After the twist out I was able to re-twist it dry because the hair was still soft and smooth, not greasy. Loving it. I will be adding this once a month along with my regular deep condition that I do twice a month. The products in included in the content should last a long time but I'm ordering another set because I know how it flies off the shelf and I would be very unhappy if I have to wait.

When I relax my hair my favourite thing is the shine and the smoothness it gives my hair entire, not just the newly relaxed roots but the every inch of my hair. This product does just that. It brings that healthy looking shine to once dry hair. It makes it appears as if you went to a professional for relaxer and treatment. It will bring new life to your hair. The effects will last at least a full week. You will get about 2-3 full treatment in the container.

I have been using the olive oil infusion for about a month now. I have nothing really negative to say, but I honestly have yet to notice anything different with my hair. I am natural, Black/Hispanic with 4b/c (its really thick, kinky curly, but soft...I know it's strange) and I didn't see much off a difference while using it. I'm going to continue to use it however, because as I said there is nothing negative to say...maybe it just takes a longer use to see some results. Besides, olive oil and the other ingredients in the package are good for the hair and scalp. So I would encourage anyone to try it.

When I first bought this I was about 2 days away from being completely bald...NO exaggeration! So it softened my hair along with the Black Vanilla Shampoo and leave in conditioner. I loved it! The only problem is that my hair is extremely thick and rough, I only had enough of this for two uses and for $25.00 dollars I would have expected more than 2 uses. I'm completely out and I will be buying it again maybe with something that will last longer.

I last got a relaxer at the end of August; I washed my hair October 29, so it's been 2 months, about the recommended time you get a new one. I never much liked the idea of getting a relaxer every two months though - seems to be too much damage on your hair - so I decided to try this oil treatment. Normally I don't do too much to my hair, and this seemed complicated, but I did it anyway. Honestly, it's not complicated at all. I did while I watched TV, let it sit for 30 minutes, then washed it out with the Chocolat line. And homg, but this stuff WORKS. My hair grows really fast so I think I have a little less than an inch of new growth, but you can NOT tell by looking at my hairline! Normally when I "need" a relaxer I don't like parting my hair or brushing it back from the front, but I wore it brushed back today and my roots look just as smooth. And when I put my fingers up in my hair, I definitely felt that the curl pattern was loosened and smoothed out. I also used a little dab of the oil on my hair when I needed a quick moisturizer.

I have never had a conditioning treatment do what oil infusion does to my hair. It makes my hair so soft and truly stretches my relaxer.
