I absolutely love the hair products. I started my journey from processed to natural hair two years ago and it took me a while to find a combination of carols daughter products that worked for my thick, tightly curled hair that sucks up moisture. Since then I've turned my son on to the products because he wears braids and he likes it too, my mother and daughter also the products. I am pleased to say that I made my first online CD purchase today. I purchased the Mint Clarifying Duo & with my membership it cost $18. I saved several dollars more because I am a CD member too. I have been using Carol Daughter for at least 10-11 years way before they company is what it is now. I remeber once I had a problem with and order and I had to call to one of the stores anywho.. My problem was resolved without any hestation but I actually talked to Lisa herself she is so super nice and she sent me a thank letter along with a really nice gift certificate!! Let me start by saying this membership had me at "free shipping". I Became a member when it was offered at a discount and it has already in just this week paid for itself. I've ordered everything in the Orange Ambrosia collection with the exception of the roll on cologne. You have a hair and body client for life. I just love both you Carol and your products. You have done your mama proud!!

I saw Lisa on HSN and listened to the discussion regarding some of the hair care products. I then read about her story in a magazine article. I have very dry scalp and thin, fine care and had problems with breakage. I decided to purchase the Black Vanilla products when I visited Macy's, it was the best decision I ever made. Initially I purchased the shampoo and conditioner, later that month I went back and bought the Smoothie and leave in conditioner. I took the products to the salon and my stylist used them exclusively on my hair. It took a few months but my hair became softer, we saw less breakage and it began to grow. Also my scalp is less dry since using this line, I recommend Carol's Daughters products to all women (and men) of color. Just be sure you have the product that best fits your hair/scalp type.

I LOVE CAROLS DAUGHTER PRODUCTS. I promote their products as if I work for them or something, telling people the correct products that would work best for them and everything and letting my friends get a sample of my own products to try for one wash of their hair lol. Then I decided to become a member. I am loving my membership and am now trying to promote their membership for them also lol. My hair has grown much longer healthier and full. I used to use sulfate products that would rip my hair apart and I could see the decrease in length and texture. At 24 I am now gaining almost the same length of hair I had at age 7 and my damaged hair is no longer thin and brittle. Thank you Carols Daughter I appreciate your products!

I am trying Carols Daughter products for the first time, I have chemically treated hair that is so thick i am afraid to transition over, I have a lot of hair still but, I could never find a product that leaves my hair soft and managable until now, I purchased the MONOI REPAIRING COLLECTION and I uses the conditioner for the first time , and I love the softness of my hair immediately after the rinse. I use conditioners on my hair more than shampoos, I also used the LISA HAIR ELIXIR , I love the way it moisturize my hair without weighing it down and that was very important to me, I will spend any amount of money on my hair care products as long as they work. I was a OUIDAD FAN, and I like their results from their products also but I needed more, and so far I like want Carols Daughter started giving me , I will continue to use it to see if I will get the results in the long run that i am looking for but so far very Good.

I begian using the Ocean Sea Salt Body Scrub & Shea Souffle' in the fall of '10. After 1 week my skin was so soft and smooth it was unbelievable! Throughout the winter my entire body became more & more moist & silky smooth vs the usual dry flakiness I have battled every winter of my 61 yr. life in harsh Indiana winters! I am definitely a life time customer unless Lisa changes her product as some co. do once they get successful. Please don't do this Lisa!!! You have a wonderful product & a faithful customer base! Please bring back the Ocean scents

It's hard to pick a favorite product! I absolutely luv "Some of Marguerite's Magic" - cannot do without it. Also the Shea Souffle' is the only product I use on my face - I especially like Ectasy, but will have to order I'm Power that I see below with MJ. In the winter, my skin gets so dry, and the "Love Butter" was the ONLY product that worked. Also luv all the body cleansing gel's - you do not have to use much,and it lasts far longer than other larger size products. Everyone that I've told about your products are hooked.

Love watching you on HSN !!! Just like the Lemon Ginger Mint Manicure with the Lemon and Jojoba Cuticle oil.!!!! I saved money, by not going to the nail salon after using this product!!!! My nails and cuticles are wonderful. Also, I adore "Lisa's Hair Elixir and Hair Balm".... My permed hair looks healthy and shiny, whether I wear my hair curled or in a pony tail . No split ends. This also saves me money, less visits to the hair salon. It would be great if the discount could be used in stores for products. It is easier to shop online but sometimes if i happen to be in one of your stores, I would like to pick something up and use the discount but have been told its only for use online.. So either I pay full price or wait until I remember to jump on the computer to order then wait a few days to finally recieve the order.

My granny on my dad's side was Cherokee Indian so I think that's why my hair is super, crazy thick and has always been dry, frizzy and pouffy. It used to resemble a broomstick and hairdressers would get intimidated by it then convince me to go short even though it was a more of a hassle to take care of cause of my hair type and besides short hair just does not make me feel pretty! But since I discovered Carol's Daughter through Sephora during their Christmas sale last year, my hair is now everything that I have wanted it to be; shiny, soft, nourished and full of life, it finally lays well too and actually moves! It's also extremely healthy now which is amazing since I haven't got a trim since last spring (I have to find someone that isn't afraid of my hair!). So that goes to show that her products actually work and heal your hair rather than cover it up with synthetic oils or whatever else the other guys use! The Ecstasy bath oil makes my skin so soft and I don't get this horrible razor burn on my legs anymore. The Wash Away the Oil set is helping to clear up my skin! So yeah, truly miracle products for me! I just signed up for a membership because I feel it's well worth it to do so. your product was on the top of my daughters xmas list so i went online to see what it was all about & who madt it & where to buy it. my daughter love it & I trust her opinion about things. Also If macys is backing it, its gotta be good! @ the calument city mall where the salelady was most helpful & knew just what i needed after we finished with my daughter stuff. i took off my hat & my hair was so dry from the heat of last summer, heat in the house,messed up from years of prems & god only knows what else! i used exspense hair products that only lay on the top of my hair but there was no body to it, it look like DEAD FOLKS HAIR!!! it was sad considering i have two grades of hair. my moms nappy on top & my dad stright that lay on my neck. so here we go. the lady sold me the Milk products she said I needed. Because it was so dry I didnt wash it first I just took a hand full of the curl definder on top of all the other stuff i had on my hair allready & I worked it in real good. after a while my scalp starter to tingle so I massaged my sclap some more & some more my sclap was so dry it was sucking the hair milk up & wanted more. this went on for an hour, my head was feeling real free shall I say. five days later i washed my hair with curl perfecting shampoo. I could smell a hint of maybe fruit.I applied it as told this first time than added some more, my hair was clean i could feel it & baby believe me I know when My hair is clean! than your conditioner just layed it out. I let it stay in a little longer & let my hair air dry. today 1/3/2011 my hair has a luster look to it, it has body for the first time in YEARS! MY sclap is not itching anymore, my gray / sliver is shining so, it put a glow on my brown complextion that makes me look younger. I went to New Jersey this past summer to visit my mom and daughter. We went to 125th St. to purchase the Hair Milk, Hair Balm and the Face Butter. They are all fantastic. I love the way the Hair Balm smells. My hair is curly and I wear it short so when my barber cuts my hair he loves the fragrance of the balm. I just got my Black Vanilla Herbal Shampoo and the Leave-In Conditioner today and can't wait to use them.

My little girl is 7yrs old she is mixed race, she has thick curly hair, it was hard for me to comb or do any style. Hi Melba, What I have found to truly grow & strengthen my hair is the elixir (use a small amount as it is very very strong in its smell & strength), the mimosa, hair balm, and the hair butter. I truly used all these not all together but if I use the mimosa on Monday, then on Wednesday I would use the hair butter, then Friday the elixir (basically rotate) tie your hair up at night with a satin cap. You can use the hair products for washing/conditioning but I used the mint kind and it dried it out bad, tangled it up really bad, now the conditioner was ok and the vanilla leave-in conditioner made my hair very very sticky and the smell is not good whatsoever. I purchased the Tui Oil Shampoo/Conditioner today so I will see how it works, oh I also used the Tui Oil-very good but use a little because it goes a long long ways. Right now I used Pantene Shampoo and Classic Motions Shampoo with the conditioner in it and it made my hair very beautiful, soft, with a glossy shine. This is not a Carol Dtr's product so if the Tui Oil don't work then I will continue using the Classic Motions Shampoo/Conditioner. Melba, I hope this helps answers your question. Take care! Oh please don't wash your hair daily I was told by a hair stylist I was drying it out by washing it daily with hot water, so I put a plastic cap on mine while using the Classic Motions & Pantene for 10-15minutes.

Where do I start, I love the Hair Milk trio, the hair honey, loc butter, the black vanilla leave-in conditioner and the face wash. My hair is thin, but I can feel it becoming thicker. I love smelling my hair during the day. The fash wash is the first wash I've ever used that totally washed my face. I use a toner afterwwards and the cottonball is almost clean.
