I got the starter kit for curly hair.I washed my hair this morning and this afternoon I still have curls.I will be buying more.I have had this curls all of my life.This product is the best for me. I just love it.

I am "newly natural" having transitioned for a year before cutting off my permed ends this past November. I tried the hair milk starter kit first before committing to the full sized set and absolutely fell in love with the co-wash and the curl pudding! I prefer the lighter leave in moisturizer. They have all become staples in my daily hair routine. Just one more reason to LOVE Carol's Daughter!!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!! I am a proud mother of two girls. I relax my very thick, coarse hair regularly at a salon and want my girls, 8 & 2, to remain natural. My oldest has very thick hair like me, but my baby girl's hair is very soft and curly. I have been told about CD products and decided it was time to try it. I purchased the Hair Milk starter kit with the Hair Pudding and fell In Love!! The girls hair is so soft and manageable that I no longer dread "hair day". My oldest is very tender-headed and hated getting her hair combed. Now she loves telling it doesn't hurt anymore and loves her two-strand twist. I have done the big chop many times but always reverted back to the relaxer. It was because I couldn't find any products that wouldn't leave my hair dry and brittle. A friend of mine encouraged me to try Hair Milk products. Right after using the co-wash and moisturizer one time my hair looked and felt so soft. My curls were manageable and NO FRIZZ!!! And the pudding (an added bonus)....I can't say enough about it...I am in LOVE with it! Because of these products I will no longer ever consider a relaxer again. I am a fan and a natural hair diva for life!!!!

I absolutely loved the original Hair Milk products for curly hair (the shampoo and conditioner), and my hairstylist even commented on how healthy my hair was (I get it colored approx every 6 weeks to cover grey, so it tends to get dry from that and straightening it occasionally). I was disappointed when I went to reorder and they had changed the product to a co-cleanse and leave in conditioner. I was afraid that it would be too heavy for my fine, but thick and curly hair. I was right. My hair felt greasy and looked greasy. It never looks greasy with any other products or styling aids I have used. I don't think I'll even be able to give it a second try because it felt so heavy and weighed down the first attempt. I followed the directions exactly but I don't think this is a good product for fine curly hair. Now I have to find another "perfect" product...just when I'd thought my search was over! Please bring back the original shampoo and conditioner!!!

I am a firm advocate for selling sample sizes. I am happy that I was able to try the co-wash, both the regular and lite leave-ins, and the pudding for under $25. It lasted three co-washes and styles. I think that is a good size sample and allowed me to use the products for different styles since I use different amounts of product to achieve different effects. I can say that I did not experience the feeling of product build-up. My hair did not feel greasy, and it did feel soft and well nourished. There is always room for improvement and I think the line would benefit if the co-wash left my hair with better slip. Overall I would recommend the product line highly.

I've been Natural now for 4yrs. & have tried all kinds of products that have leave in conditioners Thankfully My Mom bought Me this trial bcuz it is Amazing it helps My Super curly hair stay healthy, shiny & really Full which I love because wet my hair looks 10strands & this product allows my curls to Fro up & look Amazing!

I tried this product last night. I found my hair dry and somewhat frizz still. I'm not sure if it's b/c of the blonde color in my hair or was it something I didn't do. I've been natural since 2008. The hardest thing I fine is finding the right product for your own hair. When I was short it was fine but I'm trying to let it grow and it's difficult to find what fit.. I have hair that when it's wet it coil up, screw curl. So I apply product to already patterns. My problem is when it dries it shrinks. This product may help if I knew some else that I could add to take away the frizz in blonde color treated hair.

I was excited when ordering this set because I was finally going to do my big chop and begin my natural journey. I am mixed (Puerto Rican and African American) with 3b hair. I assumed this product would give me soft, full, bouncy curls and was very upset when it did not. My hair felt dry, sticky, and tangled after applying the leave in. I continued on with the hair pudding because I thought it would bring my hair back to life. Unfotunately that left my hair feeling extremely stiff. Although I will not purchase this particular product from Carol's Daughter anymore, I will definately be purchasing from the company again because there are many products I do love. I was just very disappointed because I had high hopes for the curl milk. :(

I'm in the process of transitioning from relaxed to natural. My hair is naturally but is easily tangled and frizzy. I figured I try this set and I love it. I styled my hair in twists to make it waves and my waves are shiny, tangled free and great. I used the Tui leave-in conditioner to help detangle my hair. So far I'm loving all the products I've tried from Carol's Daughter.

I have been using these products for a week now and I am in love. The co-wash and conditioner left my hair feeling soft and highly moisturized. I used the pudding for my twist out and they came out nice. One of my best twist outs ever. Will be buying again :)

The cowash and conditioner are okay and I will use them again. The pudding left white flakes behind. My sister and I tried it on damp hair as the instructions stated. We also tried it on dry hair. White flakes appeared both times. I have type 4 hair so I really need moisture. But others may not have that same issue.

I recently moved from Southern California to Chicago and was having the hardest time taming my curls. My hair is dry to begin and the weather in Chicago made it even worse. This kit has done wonders for my hair. It's back to being frizz free and shiny. Plus, my curls are perfectly defined. I highly recommend this kit.

Was very excited to try the hair milk collection, but was extremely disappointed with the results! My hair was so greasy, even though I only put in a small amount. Had to rewash my hair to remove the product! Will be returning same!

I am 11 months post relaxer and currently long term transitioning. I bout this product to help with my twistouts, braidouts etc but i was not all the way satisfied. the co wash conditioner worked amazingly when it cam to detangling but the other product just dried my hair out. the hair milk pudding made my relaxed end extremely stiff, i think this product best suits women who are 100% natural.

I have been using your products since 2010 and has it has done my hair wonders during my transition journey. I got the set in late August and I have been very disappointed in the results in my natural hair. All the products seemed to dry out my hair and neither Hair Milk gave my hair any curl definition. I have found that the Mimosa Hair Honey does better for my twist outs instead and I will continue to buy that as well the Black Vanilla Leave In Conditioner and the Transitioning Kit.

I just tried this product this morning and felt an immediate difference in my hair. I am multi-cultural and have extremely curly frizzy, dry hair. The hair milk is wonderful, my hair is softer and more manageable. It was easier for me to detangle and style. I was impressed with the first use. I am also happy I dont have to use a mousse that contains harsh ingredients. The hair milk pudding offers great hold and I now have soft bouncy curls. Thanks Carol's Daughters!

I am a white woman with curly, frizzy hair. I loved the co-wash, the hair milk, and the pudding. My hair looked so nice. Unfortunately, I'm very certain the products triggered a 2 day migraine. How I wish Carol's Daughter would offer fragrance free options. So my search continues for great curly hair products. I read about jessicurl products on another site and I ordered 3 trail size products because that company offers fragrance free options. Will it work as well as CD for me? Who knows, but I avoid anything that triggers migraines like the plague :(

I am happy that CD has made a Cleansing conditioner for natural hair. I see several other natural hair products but really wanted to use one by Carol's Daughter. I purchased this kit a week ago and I'm satisfied. The cleansing conditioner has a lot of moisture and enhances the natural curl pattern in my hair. It is not too heavy so its a great product. I believe my hair type is 4a; kinky/coily/tight curls. It has an s-pattern that's very tight and springy when pulled. I like the original leave-in hair milk a little better than the lite version. My hair needs that extra moisture. The pudding is also a good product. Although its for styling, it has a decent amount of moisture for your hair. There is no flaking and I haven't experienced any build-up so that's an A ++ for me. Once my kit runs low, I am going to purchase the regular sized products. :-) Thanks for making great products Lisa ! :-)

In my opinion, this product is overrated. I have type 4 curls and my hair does not feel moisturized and soft after using this product, it feels more like gunk in my hair. So, the second use I used less product and still had same results. I am glad I brought the trial package and not full size bottles.

THIS IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT .I AM PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE EASY TO FOLLOWER. PLEASE GIVE THIS A TRY! REMEMDER YOU ONLY NEED A SMALL PROTION . IN THE PAST I WOULD HAVE TO SHAMPOO FREQUENTLY ,NOW I GET A BREAK WITH A LASTING LOOK .

I recently did the big chop! I was struggling with moisture and curl definition, not to mention style. So, I decided to try this set and it is wonderful. After doing two strand twists and going to sleep, I woke to find my hair with defined curls and shine. I did need to add a little oil but not much. My curls were NOT crunchy, but soft. I was actually able to style my hair. I will definitely be buying this again. I am going to begin using these products regularly because they actually work for me, plain and simple! Love it and I will never use anything else!!!!

I have been natural for a few years now and I have never used a product that has left my hair so soft and moisturized. Even my husband loves playing in my curly hair! I have what we call the 'I got my momma on one side, daddy on the other' type of hair. The hair milk was like hydrating silk. Now, my hair texture has changed ( for the better!). My boss told me about it a while back, but I never really got the chance to try it. I am very picky when it comes to hair products, so when I used it, I was sold. Now, I'm a true believer in it. Garnier Frutis, Organic Naturals and every hair product that I possess will have to take a backseat! If anyone who is natural, or even attempting to, please use Carols Daughter! I wanted to treat my hair to a new product. After speaking with the sales consult at Macys i was convince the new hair milk was the right product. Tried it twice with same result, dry hair with no curl definition. I wasted $24.00.

I purchased this starter set at Macy's Department store in my area! Due to my transitioning from processed hair to natural, I wanted to be sure these products would work for me! To my surprise, these products performed better than I expected! I watched one of Carol's Daughter's on-line videos and began my journey to curl heaven! I followed the directions precisely, proceeded to two-twist my hair, followed by a 30 minute heat cap drying and then untwisted my hair the following morning with curls galore! With little effort, I've received several compliments! By the way, you have at least two-3 applications in this starter set, but it only took one application to convince me to buy the full size set for future use! I love the fact that I obtained the results I've wanted for so long without heat and annoying rods or rollers! I'm not sure what the original scent wast, but this scent smells divine! Best of all, my hair is manageable, soft and not weighed down with a sticky residue! Thanks Carol...This Hair Milk line is awesome and so are you!

I have never written a review for a product but I had to tell anyone who would listen just how great these products are. I've been natural for about 14 months and it's been a challenge to find the right product for my hair type which I believe is 4a. I'm definitely a product junkie and a very critical one at that. I have never tried Carol's Daughter in part due to the strong scents many of the products have but I decided to attend a launch event at Macy's for this line to get recommendations from the consultants. I LOVE this set. The products don't really have a smell (no fruity smells to irritate sensitive people like me with allergies). The cowash cleanser is moisturizing and my hair feels very clean but not stripped. I use the lite leave in which is really nice (I tried the original initially and it was a bit too heavy for me). It gives me just the right amount of moisture and shine without being greasy. Finally, I'm so thrilled with the pudding. I've had a very hard time finding a good styling product. The pudding is amazing! I have a hard time with frizz, shrinkage, and my twist outs usually only last one day. With the pudding my twist outs are silky and soft with movement, frizz free, long lasting, moisturized and elongated. I've tried the products for a wash and go also and it was great. Nice definition, no frizz and shiny. If you haven't tried these products you really should, you will be pleased. I know I am so happy I decided to give them a try.

Just used this product for the first time today. I wanted to try the smaller size before splurging on the full-size set. I've used other products (even from CD) and have never gotten the soft and spiral natural curl I've been looking for. I got it today! The curl looks like they were achieved with straw rollers and it doesn't have that crunchy feeling I tend to get with most curl puddings and mousse. I've NEVER been able to run my fingers through my hair when it was curly without them getting caught in a lock, but I can now! I must say I liked the feeling of my wet hair after using the co-wash more than I did after using the leave-in moisturizer. The moisturizer felt like putting lotion in my hair. But the finished product is AMAZING and I'll be purchasing the full-sized products soon!

I have been natural for a long time and after braids, sew-ins, and quick weaves I was finally ready to let the world see my hair. Mind you I have 4b type hair with a few sections that are doing their own thing :-). I had no idea what products to try so I came on over here to Carol's Daughter. I purchased the Hair Milk Starter kit and the Rosemary Mint clarification shampoo and condition. I clarified first and then used the Hair Milk pudding. My twist out came out great!!! I gave it a few days then tried the co-wash and leave in Hair Milk moisturizer. Another great twist out! I've been getting so may compliments on my hair since I using this stuff. I'm gonna stick to Carol's Daughter and these products from now on. My hair is soft to the touch and easy to manage now. I'm hooked!!!

The hair milk original kept my hair moisturized all day and I only tried it for one day so far.

But wait walking through the French Quarters of New Orleans and there was your STORE I quickly went in and said I want the product for curly hair, Hair Milk and it has made a true change in my hair. I'm a 33yr. old female that has a Jheri Curl. Yes, in 2012 a Jheri curl is still alive. I have had one for about 1 1/2 years, my hair is shoulder length and all the products for this particular style is harsh on the hair. So I decided to try the New Hair Milk kit. I washed with the co-wash and after applied the hair milk lite leave in moisturizer. I let it air dry as I fluff with fingers. My hair is AWESOME!!!!! It's soft, bouncy, and moisturized and no frizz. The new smell is light and doesn't have that strong lemongrass fragrance. My curls are beautiful, hair looks as if it is truly natural.Some might hate the fact that I'm putting some form of chemicals in my hair but I was natural for about 8 months before the curl and couldn't maintain it properly. I loved my natural curls but my hair was SO THICK!!! So I know now that if I decided to transition again( which I think I might do(I'm about 3 mo. post) I would stick with this particular Hair Milk combo. But for now, Watch out, here comes the new and improved Jheri Curl for 2012!

I've been natural for 2 months (big chop) and I've been on an endless search for just the right products for my coarse,thick hair. I was hopeful with the new and improved Carol's Daughter Hair Milk starter kit, but was disappointed with the results. My hair looked and felt dry and was crunchy; I was hoping for soft, moisturized curls but came up short. Since I have quite a bit of each product left, I will use them (and hope for better results), but I do not plan purchase again.

I purchased the Hair Milk Co-wash and Original Leave-in Moisturizer yesterday. I am truly amazed at how my curls responded...they LOVE this wonderful product line. My hair is exposed to a lot of sun but at the end of my day my curls retained the moisture and looked great!!! Thanks to CD...these items are keepers for me.
